The methods include, by a computing device: receiving data indicative of a source of an image that is one of a series of images that collectively provide a visual representation of a state of an application of the computing device, identifying, region of the image that is the same in another image of the series of images, determining a size of the identified region, and embedding the data within the identified region of the image in response to a comparison between the determined size of the identified region and a threshold.

The method includes, by a processor: receiving a display frame associated with the dynamic image, receiving data to be embedded in the display frame, identifying one or more stable regions in the display frame, upon identification of the one or more stable regions, updating a cache, identifying a largest stable region corresponding to the display frame in the cache, and embedding the data to be embedded in the largest stable region to create a region including embedded data. The cache includes a plurality of stable regions corresponding to one or more display frames associated with the dynamic image.

Systems and methods for embedding data in a dynamic image of a remote session display. The method includes, by a processor: receiving a display frame associated with the dynamic image, receiving data to be embedded in the display frame, identifying one or more stable regions in the display frame, upon identification of the one or more stable regions, updating a cache, identifying a largest stable region corresponding to the display frame in the cache, and embedding the data to be embedded in the largest stable region to create a region including embedded data. The cache includes a plurality of stable regions corresponding to one or more display frames associated with the dynamic image.
