Image processing apparatus and control method for image processing apparatus for error reduction
An image processing apparatus includes a processing section and a control section configured to instruct operation of the processing section. The control section executes, before sending, to the processing section, a first instruction corresponding to an instruction that caused an error in the past, an error avoidance operation based on instruction history information and operation state history information acquired from a storing section that stores the instruction history information and the operation state history information, the instruction history information indicating an instruction given to the processing section by the control section, the operation state history information indicating an operation state of the processing section caused by the instruction.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus includes a first device, a second device, and one or more controllers that function as a first processing unit capable of controlling the first device, and a second processing unit capable of controlling the second device. The first processing unit receives information from the first device about a status of the first device and transmits a message to the second processing unit. The second processing unit receives the message from the first processing unit and controls the second device. In startup processes, the first and second processing units perform processes to start a communication with each other such that the first processing unit stores predetermined information in a predetermined storage area based on the information about the status of the first device received from the first device, and the second processing unit controls the second device based on the predetermined information acquired from the storage area.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
An information processing apparatus includes a non-volatile semiconductor storage device storing a startup related program, a notification unit configured to provide notification of information, and a controller having one or more processors which executes instructions stored in one or more memories. The controller is configured to determine whether the startup related program is falsified, obtain life information of the semiconductor storage device, and determine whether the life information satisfies a condition. In a case where the controller determines that the startup related program is falsified and the life information satisfies the condition, the notification unit provides notification of at least information about a remaining life of the semiconductor storage device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to acquire a copy image, that is a copy of an image displayed on a display device, every time a predetermined timing occurs, and store the acquired copy image in a storage device in association with information indicating the predetermined timing that triggers the acquisition.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, ERROR PREVENTING METHOD FOR THE SAME, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus includes: a display portion; an error sensor that detects an operating error; a recovery sensor that detects the recovery from an operating error; and a display processor that makes the display portion display a notice of an operating error when the error sensor detects the operating error and that makes the display portion display an operation guide for preventing the reoccurrence of the same operating error when the recovery sensor detects the recovery from the operating error.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND PROGRAM
An image forming system includes: an image forming apparatus including an image forming unit for forming an image on a sheet, an image reading unit for reading a sheet surface and generating a scan image, an image inspection unit for detecting abnormalities within the scan image, and a history generating unit for generating detection information of each of the abnormalities and generating a history image by embedding the detection information in the scan image; a storage device for storing the history image; and a user terminal for displaying an abnormality detection result and inputting a user's evaluation of the abnormality detection result, wherein the image forming apparatus further includes a parameter setting unit for finally determining the abnormalities depending on the user's evaluation, and determining and setting abnormality detection parameters such that the abnormalities finally determined are detected, and the abnormalities not finally determined are not detected.
System and method for selectively sending, delivery and receiving of faxes
Embodiment of systems and methods for the sending, delivery or receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at users' sites, and a fax registration system that may be deployed remotely from these users' site. The fax connector can be accessed at a user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at a sending user's site communicates with the fax registration system to obtain destination data associated with a recipient user's fax connector and transmits the fax to the destination fax connector over the computer based network based on the destination data obtained from the registration system. The fax can then be presented to the recipient at the recipient user's site.
COMPONENT MANAGEMENT DEVICE, COMPONENT MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
According to one embodiment, provided is a component management device includes a detection unit, a correlation determination unit, and an update unit. The detection unit detects a first-class component whose used amount exceeds the threshold value and which is used without causing a failure, and detects a first-class device that is a device including the detected first-class component and not causing a failure related to the first-class component. The correlation determination unit determines the presence or absence of a correlation with respect to a first correlation that is a correlation between the used amount of the detected first-class component and an operating condition of the first-class device. When it is determined that there is no correlation for the first correlation, the update unit determines a first update value that is an update value of the threshold value based on the used amount of the first-class component in the first-class device.
