The program causes the portable terminal to perform searching an image processing apparatus capable of executing an image processing operation by a first method, determining whether the image processing apparatus is detected in the searching by the first method, searching the image processing apparatus by a second method in a case where it is determined that the image processing apparatus is not detected as a result of the searching by the first method, storing apparatus information for identifying the image processing apparatus detected in the searching by the first method or the searching by the second method, and transmitting operation instruction information for instructing execution of the image processing operation to the image processing apparatus identified with the designated apparatus information stored.

A system of tracking a location of a print device in an environment. For each of one or more users of a print device during a time period, the system identifies an event that is initiated at the print device over a network where the event is associated with the user and a print job, and determines whether the user is registered with the location tracking system. In response to determining that the user is registered with the location tracking system, the system determines a login location of the user, determines whether the login location is current, and in response to determining that the login location is current, stores the one or more location coordinates in a data store such that they are associated with the print device. The system estimates a location of the print device, and provides the location of the print device to an asset management system.

A memory card (103) for use in an electronic apparatus (101) is proposed. In order to control an electronic apparatus (101) with an inbuilt processor (301) incapable of exporting digital data externally of the electronic apparatus (101), a user local at the electronic apparatus (101) is required to operate the electronic apparatus (101). This is not always convenient. The proposed memory card (103) has a wireless module (207) for receiving an instruction wirelessly from a remote wireless-enabled apparatus (105), and also a central processor (201) for controlling the inbuilt processor (301) of the electronic apparatus (101) in accordance with the received instruction.
