A method, a system, and a non-transitory computer readable medium are disclosed containing a computer program having computer readable code embodied to carry out a method of providing Uniform Resource Identifiers for Push Scan jobs pursuant to an Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), which includes hosting a database of IPP clients and destination Uniform Resource Identifiers (destination-uris) for each of the IPP clients, the database of destination-uris defining each of the destination-uris in which each of the IPP clients are authorized to send Push Scan jobs; receiving a request from an IPP client for at least one Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for a Push Scan job; checking the database to determine if the IPP client is authorized to send the Push Scan job to the at least one URI; and sending the destination-uris to the IPP client upon determination that the IPP client is authorized to send the Push Scan job.

The program causes the portable terminal to perform searching an image processing apparatus capable of executing an image processing operation by a first method, determining whether the image processing apparatus is detected in the searching by the first method, searching the image processing apparatus by a second method in a case where it is determined that the image processing apparatus is not detected as a result of the searching by the first method, storing apparatus information for identifying the image processing apparatus detected in the searching by the first method or the searching by the second method, and transmitting operation instruction information for instructing execution of the image processing operation to the image processing apparatus identified with the designated apparatus information stored.

For each of one or more users of a print device during a time period, the system identifies an event that is initiated at the print device over a network where the event is associated with the user and a print job, and determines whether the user is registered with the location tracking system. In response to determining that the user is registered with the location tracking system, the system determines a login location of the user, determines whether the login location is current, and in response to determining that the login location is current, stores the one or more location coordinates in a data store such that they are associated with the print device. The system estimates a location of the print device, and provides the location of the print device to an asset management system.

A system of tracking a location of a print device in an environment. The system estimates a location of the print device based on the location coordinates, and provides the location of the print device to an asset management system.
