Facsimile apparatus, control method thereof, and storage medium
According to this invention, in a reception end facsimile apparatus having a first communication mode for performing communication at a high speed and a second communication mode for performing communication at a low speed, it is determined based on an instruction from a transmission end facsimile apparatus whether to perform error correction during facsimile communication. Control is done not to perform communication in the first communication mode based on a fact that it is determined not to perform error correction during facsimile communication.
MOBILE TERMINAL THAT COMMUNICATES WITH AN IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
There is provided a mobile terminal. A near field communication unit performs near field communication. A wireless communication unit performs wireless communication that differs in a communication protocol from the near field communication. An acquiring unit, when a connection with an image forming apparatus is established through the near field communication unit, acquires identification information of the image forming apparatus from the image forming apparatus through the near field communication unit. A print instructing unit, when the acquiring unit acquires the identification information, but print completion information is not recorded in a storage unit, transmits print instruction information to instruct printing of data to the image forming apparatus of the identification information through the wireless communication unit or the near field communication unit, and records the print completion information in the storage unit.

Communication device capable of performing wireless communication according to NFC standard
A communication device may receive a first specific signal from a terminal device via an NFC interface, determine whether the first specific signal includes install information, change an operation mode of the NFC interface from Reader mode to CE mode in a case where it is determined that the first specific signal does not include the install information, change the operation mode of the NFC interface from Reader mode to Writer mode in a case where it is determined that the first specific signal includes the install information, supply first identification information to the NFC interface in a case where the NFC interface operates in CE mode, and supply specific information different from the first identification information to the NFC interface in a case where the NFC interface operates in Writer mode.

Remotely displaying an operation screen of an image forming apparatus
Provided is an image forming apparatus that allows a remote operation terminal to operate an image processing apparatus connected by SIP. On this account, the image forming apparatus (100) connected to the remote operation terminal (300) by SIP includes a remote operation-request message receiving part that receive a remote-operation request message from the remote operation terminal (300), a remote-operation response message transmitting part that transmits a remote-operation response message in response to the remote-operation request message, and an operation-screen information transmitting part that transmits operation screen information of the image forming apparatus (100) to the remote operation terminal (300) in accordance with the communication condition of the communication session when an SIP-based communication session is established between the remote operation terminal (300) and the image forming apparatus (100).
Information processing system capable of automatically configuring settings for functional cooperation between apparatuses, image pickup apparatus, method of controlling the image pickup apparatus, and storage medium
An information processing system that automatically configures settings for functional cooperation between an information processing apparatus and an image pickup apparatus. The information processing system includes a network camera and an MFP configured to receive predetermined information from the camera. A CPU of the camera sends the predetermined information to the MFP when an approach of a user to the MFP is detected. The CPU sets a detection frame extracted from image data obtained by picking up an image of the MFP, to detect the user's approach thereto. Then, the CPU determines whether the detection frame has a size equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold. When the size of the detection frame is not equal to or larger than the predetermined threshold, the CPU detects whether or not the user has approached the MFP, using the detection frame.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE-FORMING-APPARATUS REMOTE SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR REMOTELY DISPLAYING OPERATION SCREEN OF IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
Image processing apparatus, information processing apparatus, and image transfer method
According to an aspect of the invention, an image processing apparatus includes: a receiving unit that receives a transfer request, which contains an identifier for identification of an image object, a size of image data obtained by resizing the image object, a transfer starting point of the image data, and a transfer end point of the image data, from an information processing apparatus, a generating unit that generates the image data from the image object based on the transfer request, and a transfer unit that transfers the image data from the transfer starting point to the transfer end point to the information processing apparatus based on the transfer request.
