A system and method for printing with improved content builds an analytics dataset of big data built from content retrieved from an array of networked servers. When a user scans or prints their document, a print file or a scan file is analyzed for content and applied to the analytics dataset. Characteristics of the user are determined, and suggestions for modification, including additions, corrections, deletions or substitutions are rendered to the user upon printing. Additions may be automatically rewritten or rephrased to avoid direct use of content of others.

IMAGE READING APPARATUS
An original image is read as an aggregate of a plurality of pixels in which adjacent pixels have different colors (R, G, and B) in a main scanning direction and in a sub-scanning direction, and the read pixels of the respective colors are stored in a line memory in association with information on relative positions of the pixels with respect to another pixel. Then, the stored pixels are sorted so that pixels having the same color are adjacent to each other, and an abnormal pixel (dust) not present in the original image is detected based on the state of the sorted pixels. With this, the dust not present in the original image is detected without increasing the cost, and the dust is corrected without forming a conspicuous trace of correction.
CONTENT AWARE IMPROVEMENT OF CAPTURED DOCUMENT IMAGES
Systems and methods are disclosed for content aware digital image enhancement. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods analyze content of a digital image portraying a document with graphics and/or text and generate a cleaning confidence map. Specifically, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods generate a cleaning confidence map indicating a likelihood that each pixel in the digital image portrays text or a graphic. Moreover, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods utilize the cleaning confidence map as a reflection of how aggressively to modify digital images. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods utilize the cleaning confidence map to remove shadows, identify and clean background pixels, and correct contrast in relation to the digital image.
