Color expression conversion apparatus for understanding color perception in document using textual, expression and non-transitory computer readable medium storing program
A color expression conversion apparatus includes a color expression conversion rule storage unit that stores a rule for converting a textual expression of a specific color into another textual expression, and a color expression conversion control unit that converts a textual expression of a color included in document data into another textual expression in accordance with the rule.
INTERFACE DISPLAY METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed are an interface display method, a device and a storage medium. The method includes: obtaining a color-blind color of a current user and a current color replacement mode; determining a target color corresponding to the color-blind color when the current color replacement mode is a user-defined mode; and replacing the color-blind color displayed on a display interface of a smart device with the target color when the display interface is activated, and displaying the target color on the display interface. The present application determines the color-blind color of the current user and replaces the color-blind color with the target color which is determined in a specific color replacement mode, and finally no color-blind colors are displayed on the display interface, the viewing experience of the achromate is improved.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS SELECTIVELY APPLYING ECO MODE
An operating method of an image forming apparatus includes: receiving an input to select a selective eco mode which selectively applies an eco mode during an image forming job of a document; obtaining at least one area to be excluded from application of the eco mode from a preview of the document according to execution of the selective eco mode; generating a mask in which an area corresponding to at least one area of the document is set in an array corresponding to a preview image of the document, based on information about the at least one area of the document; and outputting the document to which the selective eco mode is applied based on the mask.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided is a technique capable of preventing generation of an output result that is not intended by a user. A notification unit is included which gives a notification regarding a color of at least one of a spot color object or a non-spot color object having color information matching spot-color color information of the spot color object in a case where the spot color object and the non-spot color object are present in a predetermined display region as a result of editing by an editing unit.
DATA HIDING FOR SPOT COLORS ON SUBSTRATES
The present disclosure relates generally to data hiding for retail product packaging and other printed objects such as substrates. One embodiment embeds an information signal in a spot color for printing on various substrates. The spot color is screened, and overprinted with process color tint. The tint is modulated prior to overprinting with optimized signal tweaks. The optimization can include consideration of a detector spectral dependency (e.g., red and/or green illumination). Many other embodiments and combinations are described in the subject patent document.
COLOR CALIBRATION
A color calibration chart may be created including a plurality of colors that are variations of a print color established for printing a reference color by a printing system using multiple colors. The colors in the calibration chart may be measured. A color from the calibration chart may be selected for printing the reference color which has a measurement value indicative of a color consistency within a predefined distance from a reference value for the print color.
Imaging Process Initialization Techniques
Imaging process initialization techniques are described. In an implementation, a color estimate is generated for a plurality of pixels within a region of an image. A plurality of pixels outside of the regions are first identified for each pixel of the plurality of pixels within the region. This may include identification of pixels disposed at opposing directions from the pixel being estimated. A color estimate is determined for each of the plurality of pixels based on the identified pixels. As part of this, a weighting may be employed, such as based on a respective distance of each of the pixels outside of the region to the pixel within the region, a distance along the opposing direction for corresponding pixels outside of the region (e.g., at horizontal or vertical directions), and so forth. The color estimate is then used to initialize an imaging process technique.
Using a predicted color for both visibility evaluation and signal robustness evaluation
The present document provides image processing methods and apparatus. One claim recites: obtaining a signal to be encoded in color image data, the signal comprising a plural-bit payload; predicting a resulting color of overprinting several inks on a substrate, the overprinting representing the color image data encoded with the signal; using the resulting color for both i) visibility evaluation of the overprinting, and ii) signal robustness evaluation of the overprinting as seen by an imaging device. Other claims and combinations are provided.
Editing media using composite bumps
A non-transitory machine readable medium that has a computer program for adjusting color values of an image represented in a color space is described. The image includes a set of pixels. Each pixel includes a set of color values. The computer program displays a composite bump on a tonal adjustment graph that is defined along a particular color component of the color space. The composite bump is generated by blending several bumps on the tonal adjustment graph. In response to receiving an input on a location on the tonal adjustment graph, the computer program creates a new bump based on the input and blending the new bump with the composite bump to create a modified composite bump. The computer program adjusts the color values of the image based on the modified composite bump.
