The method includes: dividing a candidate video for placing the delivery information into a plurality of video frames; determining a plurality of key frames from the plurality of video frames based on a correlation degree of every two adjacent video frames; determining a target frame from the plurality of key frames based on existing conversion information corresponding to each of the plurality of key frames and sampling conversion information corresponding to the each of the plurality of key frames; and placing a delivery component corresponding to the target frame into the target delivery frame.

A method of multi-platform social media advertising and revenue sharing via digital overlays on real-time video feeds enables a host streamer profile to select and display one or more advertisement elements on a real-time video feed, which is broadcast on a host social media platform in addition to being broadcast to one or more third-party platforms. The advertisements may be chosen through various means and customized by advertisers according to desired parameters. Each advertisement is associated with a financial compensation amount. Customized highlight shows for sporting events, entertainment events, and/or the like, having a narrative component, are generated and presented. The events can be sporting events, entertainment events, and/or the like. For example, in the context of sporting events, a determination is made as to what types of sports, teams, leagues, players, plays, and/or the like are of interest to the user. A customized highlight show is then generated and presented, containing those specific portions of the sporting events that are likely to be of interest, arranged in a manner that is likely to be entertaining and interesting to the user and that presents a cohesive narrative.

The method includes receiving user input reflecting user content preferences for receiving desired content related to specific topics in lieu of standard advertising slots while watching playable media content via a set-top box. The method may further include receiving a request for playable media content and then retrieving desired content based on user content preferences. Thereafter, the method may include choosing non-intrusive advertising content and generating datagrams that include the desired content and the non-intrusive advertising content. The datagrams may be concatenated with the playable media content to generate displayable content. The display content may then be provided for displaying.

A system (1000) is disclosed including a resource allocation optimization (RAO) platform (1002) for optimizing the allocation of resources in network (1004) for delivery of assets to user equipment devices (UEDs) (1012). The RAO platform (1002) determines probabilities that certain asset delivery opportunities (ADOs) will occur within a selected time window and uses these probabilities together with information concerning values of asset delivery to determine an optimal use of asset deliveries. In this regard, the RAO platform (1004) received historical data from repository (1014) that facilitates calculation of probabilities that ADOs will occur. Such information may be compiled based on asset delivery records for similar network environments in the recent past or over time.

Methods, systems, and media for timing presentation of content are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: causing a first video content item to be presented on a user device of a user, wherein the video content item is provided by a video sharing service; identifying a promotion for the video sharing service that is to be presented to the user during a time window; determining a probability that the user will select the promotion if the promotion is presented at a first time point within the time window in connection with the first video content item; determining whether to present the promotion at the first time point based on at least on the probability; in response to determining that the promotion is to be presented at the first time point, causing the promotion to be presented on the user device at the first time point in connection with the first video content item; and, in response to determining that the promotion is not to be presented at the first time point, causing the promotion to be presented on the user device at a second time point in connection with a second video content item, wherein the second time point is within the time window and wherein the second time point is after the first time point.

In some embodiments, a method receives an supplemental content placement and a context associated with a request for supplemental content to be displayed for the supplemental content placement. A first value is generated based on the context using a prediction network for a platform. The method determines probabilities for a plurality of types of request actions based on the context. Then, a threshold for the supplemental content placement is calculated based on the first value and the probabilities for the plurality of types of request actions. The method submits the threshold to a platform in a request for the platform to submit a second value for the supplemental content placement.

In one aspect, a method is performed by a computing system that is in communication with a content-presentation device, where the content-presentation device is scheduled to perform, at a modification start-time, a content-modification operation that comprises modifying a modifiable content-segment that the content-presentation device is scheduled to receive. The method includes determining that the content-presentation device has detected, within a predefined time period after the modification start-time and during performance of the content-modification operation, a mismatch between reference fingerprint data representing the modifiable content-segment and query fingerprint data representing content received by the content-presentation device from a tuner device connected to the content-presentation device. The method also includes determining that the mismatch is due to the tuner device having modified the modifiable content-segment before the modification start-time and, in response to determining that the mismatch is due to the tuner device having modified the modifiable content-segment before the modification start-time, performing an action.
