The present invention enables a receiving side to easily recognize a high-quality format corresponding to encoded image data included in an extended video stream. Two video streams including a basic video stream including encoded image data of basic format image data, and an extended video stream including encoded image data of high-quality format image data of one type selected from a plurality of types are generated. A container of a predetermined format including the basic video stream and the extended video stream is transmitted. Information indicating a high-quality format corresponding to the encoded image data included in the extended video stream is inserted into the extended video stream and/or the container.

A method, comprising receiving live video streams from different live streaming platforms, presenting the live video streams to users in video tiles in an aggregated live streaming platform, and allowing the users to navigate and select among the video tiles of the aggregated live streaming platform to view and interact with the live video streams.

Systems and methods for asymmetric image splitter clock generation

Described herein are systems and methods that provide for asymmetric image splitter image stream applications. In one embodiment, a system supporting image multi-streaming comprises an asymmetric image splitter engine that splits super-frame image streams into two or more image streams and a fractional clock divider circuit. The fractional clock divider may comprise a digital feedback control loop and a one-bit sigma delta modulator. The fractional clock divider circuit may provide compatible display clock frequencies for each of the two or more image streams. When a multi-image stream comprises the two image streams, the asymmetric image splitter engine adjusts a vertical asymmetry of a first image stream with a shortest height to same height as a second image stream by adding vertical padding to the first image stream. The super-frame image streams may comprise image streams from video, LIDAR, radar, or other sensors.

PORTABLE DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA CONFIGURED FOR REMOTE IMAGE ACQUISITION CONTROL AND VIEWING

A wearable digital video camera (10) is equipped with wireless connection protocol and global navigation and location positioning system technology to provide remote image acquisition control and viewing. The Bluetooth® packet-based open wireless technology standard protocol (400) is preferred for use in providing control signals or streaming data to the digital video camera and for accessing image content stored on or streaming from the digital video camera. The GPS technology (402) is preferred for use in tracking of the location of the digital video camera as it records image information. A rotating mount (300) with a locking member (330) on the camera housing (22) allows adjustment of the pointing angle of the wearable digital video camera when it is attached to a mounting surface.

Distribution of multiple signals of video content independently over a network

A stereoscopic production solution, e.g., for live events, that provides 3D video asset distribution to multiple devices and networks is described. In some embodiments, live or recorded 3D video content may be accessible by different service providers with different subscribers/users and protocols across a network of the content provider. A first video signal corresponding to a first video feed for one eye of a viewer may be received and a second video signal corresponding to a second video feed for the second eye of the viewer may be received. The first video signal and the second video signal may be encoded. The encoded first video signal and the encoded second video signal may be transmitted independently over a network. The two video signals may be received and frame synced at an off-site location for eventual rendering to a display device.
