A garden watering assembly includes a plurality of sensing units and each of the sensing units has a probe which is insertable into soil in a garden to determine moisture content of the soil in the garden. The sensing units broadcast a sensing signal comprising moisture content of the soil in the garden. A controller module broadcasts an irrigation signal when the controller module receives a sensing signal from any of the sensing units which communicates a moisture level that is below the pre-determined moisture threshold. A pump unit is in remote communication with the controller module and the pump unit irrigates the soil in the garden when the controller module broadcasts the irrigation signal.

Techniques are provided which may be implemented using various methods and/or apparatuses in a mobile device to address maximum permissible exposure (MPE) proximity sensor failure. A mobile device may include a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) sensor control unit to actively monitor signals associated with proper operation of the MPE proximity sensors. Upon detecting an anomaly in any of these signals, such as a value drop below a given threshold, an MPE sensor control Unit will inform an AP (application processor, or other processor or controller) which in turn trigger display of a warning message on the display of the mobile device or the issuance of other warnings such an audible or tactile alert to inform the end user about the maximum permissible exposure (MPE) proximity sensor malfunction and/or notify the end use of a condition resulting in deactivation of the 5G new radio transceiver.

Method and transfer device for transferring data blocks

A method for transferring data blocks from a field device to a server, each data block including data describing an operation of the field device during a block time period is provided. The method includes setting a first and a second pointer delimiting a completed time period; and, until a predetermined transfer period elapses: transferring the data blocks having a block time period that is later than the second pointer to the server in a chronological order; and if all data blocks having a block time period that is later than the second pointer have been transferred to the server, transferring the data blocks having a block time period that is earlier than the first pointer to the server in an anti-chronological order. Data blocks can efficiently and reliably be transferred to the server.
