Electronic control unit and vehicle control method thereof
An electronic control unit provided in a vehicle is provided. The electronic control unit comprises a communication unit for receiving information on vehicle electronic devices from one or more vehicle electronic devices provided in the vehicle, and a processor for selecting the information on vehicle electronic devices from any one of the vehicle electronic devices in response to occurrence of an event and controlling the communication unit to first transmit the selected information to a server.
Consumables monitoring system
A consumables monitoring system is in communication with computing means and has a dispenser assembly formed of a dispenser and a mounting unit. The mounting unit and dispenser are arranged such that a plurality of sensors in the mounting unit is able to measure the quantity of consumables in the dispenser, and the dispenser assembly communicates sensor data to the computing means, which thereby monitor the usage of the dispenser. The plurality of sensors have different sensitivities over a range of inputs, wherein system is configured to switch between the sensors depending on the value of the inputs detected. The fact that the mounting unit may engage multiple different types of otherwise stand-alone dispensers provides for a monitoring system that can be used in conjunction with any type of dispenser and consumable. The plurality of dispensers allows for optimum sensitivity across a broad range of dispenser fill levels.
User interfaces of a hearing device
Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and devices for dynamically adjusting a user interface provided by an external unit of a hearing device. In an example method, the external unit determines whether a state of the external unit is one of (i) a coupled state when the external unit and the stimulation unit are coupled or (ii) a decoupled state when the external and the stimulation unit are decoupled. The external unit then provides one of (i) a first user interface when the determined state is the coupled state or (ii) a second user interface when the determined state is the decoupled state.
Leak detection system and method of making and using the same
A method of monitoring at least one leak detection sensor, the method including the steps of: determining via a communication hub a first state of a sensor comprising a first condition when the sensor is dry and a second condition when the sensor is wet; determining via the communication hub a second state representing an operability of the sensor; communicating via the communication hub each of the states of the sensor to a Graphical User Interface (GUI); and displaying, via the GUI, a representation of the first and second states of the sensor.
FAULT NOTIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE WITH AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM
A fault notification system comprises a plurality of tower sensor units and a central processing element. Each tower sensor unit includes a tower safety sensor and a tower processing element. The tower safety sensor monitors a rotation angle of a mobile tower and output a signal that varies according to the rotation angle. The tower processing element is configured to receive the signal, compare a signal level of the signal with a range of signal levels indicating a normal rotation angle, and transmit a message that a fault has occurred and request that each drive motor shut down if the level of the signal is out of the range indicating a normal rotation angle. The central processing element is configured to receive the message from the tower processing element and transmit a signal to each tower processing element to output a signal to instruct each drive motor to shut down.
Management device, management system, management method and management program
This management device includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire, from one or a plurality of wireless terminal devices each having a plurality of contacts, state information indicating a state of each contact; and a display processing unit configured to perform, on the basis of the state information acquired by the acquisition unit, a process of displaying a representative icon representing each wireless terminal device. A possible state of the contact is any one of “closed”, “open”, and “unconnected”. The display processing unit sets a display mode of the representative icon in accordance with a priority of the state of the contact.
Methods, systems, and devices that estimate longevity of an implantable medical device
Described herein are methods, devices, and systems that estimate a total amount of time it takes to discharge a battery of an IMD from initial to subsequent capacity levels, which total amount of time is indicative of a longevity of the IMD. In certain embodiments, a range of capacity levels for the battery is separated into N separate intervals. For each of the N intervals, an estimate of an amount of time it takes for the battery to discharge from a beginning to an end of the interval is determined, to thereby determine N amounts of time that are summed to estimate the total amount of time that it takes to discharge the battery from the initial to subsequent capacity levels. In other embodiments, an iterative equation is used to estimate the total amount of time takes it takes to discharge the battery from the initial to subsequent capacity levels.
DYNAMIC GAUGES FOR DISPLAYING PRESENT AND PREDICTED MACHINE STATUS
A facility creates a dynamic gauge for indicating the status of equipment. The facility causes a gauge to be displayed with an initial satisfactory range and an initial unsatisfactory range. The facility accesses historical data describing the status of a sensor attached to equipment. The facility determines a new satisfactory range and a new unsatisfactory range, and alters the gauge to visually indicate the new satisfactory range and the new unsatisfactory range.
Automobile Biometric Sensor Assembly
An automobile biometric sensor assembly for monitoring biometric parameters of a person driving a vehicle includes a display that is positioned within a vehicle and that displays indicia comprising biometric values of a person. A plurality of seat sensors is each embedded in a seat in a vehicle. Each of the sensors senses biometric parameters of the person in the seat when the person sits in the seat and each of the seat sensors is in communication with the display. A plurality of steering wheel sensors is each embedded into a steering wheel to be in physical contact with the person when the person grips the steering wheel. Moreover, each of the steering wheel sensors senses biometric parameters of the person and each of the steering wheel sensors is in communication with the display.
Fluid container with digital display giving an indication of the state of the container
The invention relates to a pressurized gas container, having an internal volume for storing gas under pressure comprising a valve for distributing fluid, a pressure sensor for measuring the pressure of the gas and delivering at least one measurement signal, a microprocessor for processing the measurement signal delivered by the pressure sensor and a digital display. The microprocessor converts the measurement signal delivered by the pressure sensor into a measured pressure value, and compares the measured pressure value with at least one preset threshold-pressure value. The digital display displays at least one predefined term reflecting the amount of gas in the container, which is dependent on the comparison performed by the microprocessor.
