Electromagnetic (EM) channel emulator system
An electromagnetic channel emulator system is disclosed. The system includes an electromagnetic switch matrix sub-system communicatively coupled to one or more systems under test and one or more simulation control layers. The system may include a high performance computing layer including one or more processing element nodes. The electromagnetic switch matrix sub-system may include one or more electromagnetic systems under test input/output layers and one or more high performance computing input/output layers. The one or more input/output layers may include one or more signal converters. The electromagnetic switch matrix sub-system may include one or more switches communicatively coupled to the one or more input/output layers and the high performance computing layer. The one or more switches may be configured to selectively position the one or more analog signals based on the received one or more simulation control layer signals.
Method and apparatus for intelligent routing of instant messaging presence protocol (IMPP) events among a group of customer service representatives
A routing system is provided for intelligent routing of instant messages between clients connected to a data network and customer service representatives connected to the network. The system comprises at least one instant message server and at least one intermediate server connected to and addressable on the network, the intermediate server capable of routing and accessible to the instant message server. Clients connecting to the instant message server through instant message software assert a connection link advertised by the instant message server to establish bi-directional communication between the client machine and the intermediate server. In preferred application, the intermediate server interacts with the client for identification of client and client software. The client request is then routed to an appropriate customer service representative running compatible software according to enterprise rules establishing an active instant message connection between the client and the selected customer service representative.
Optical line terminal for providing management function emulating virtual chassis switch for fiber local area network system
Disclosed is a new advance in a network management function of an optical time terminal (OLT). A virtual switch management program is running on the disclosed OLT. The virtual switch management program provides a switch management environment for a single chassis-based Ethernet switch with a plurality of port extender cards corresponding to the optical network terminals and being mounted thereon through a management terminal. The virtual switch management program receives a switch management command for each port extender through the management terminal and outputs a fiber LAN management command corresponding to the switch management command to an optical network terminal corresponding to each port extender.

MULTIPLE SUBSCRIBER VIDEOCONFERENCING SYSTEM
A system, method, and device for use in videoconferencing. The method typically includes installing a videoconferencing services switch at an access point to an IP network, and registering a plurality of subscribers for videoconferencing services. Each subscriber typically has a plurality of endpoints. The method further includes receiving subscriber-specific settings to be applied to multiple videoconferencing calls from the plurality of endpoints associated with each subscriber. The method further includes storing the subscriber-specific settings at a location accessible to the switch, and configuring the switch to connect calls from the plurality of endpoints at each subscriber based on the corresponding subscriber-specific settings.
MASSIVE MULTIPLE-INPUT MULTIPLE-OUTPUT CHANNEL EMULATION METHOD AND DEVICE BASED ON OPTICAL MATRIX SWITCHING
A massive multiple-input multiple-output channel emulation method and a device based on optical matrix switching are provided. The method is realized based on a massive multiple-input multiple-output channel emulation system, which includes a plurality of channel preprocessing subsystems, an optical switching subsystem, a plurality of channel characteristic emulation subsystems, a self-checking and self-correcting subsystem, a mathematical simulation and monitoring subsystem and a time-frequency synthesis and distribution subsystem. All the subsystems are interconnected by various optical fiber connections, which are used to transmit high-speed data signals, communication information, control instructions, frequency, pulse and time signals, and have the centralized-distributed layout ability of various devices in the system based on long-distance transmission of optical fiber signals, and have the massive parallel expansion ability of the number of system signal input and output links.

Method and apparatus for anticipating and planning communication-center resources based on evaluation of events waiting in a communication center master queue
A software application for recommending workforce resource allocation in a communication center based on requirements of events represented in a communication-center queue has a first interface for accessing information from the queue; a second interface for accessing information from a data source about workforce availability and state information; a processing component for processing queue information and workforce information; and a message generation and delivery component for generating a workforce allocation recommendation based on processing results and sending the recommendation to a target entity. In a preferred embodiment, the application periodically accesses the queue and the data source to obtain the most recent information for processing and generates periodic recommendations based on real-time requirements of events and availability states of resources, the recommendations sent ahead of time before the resources are required.
