Ear tips and related devices and methods
An ear tip includes a body configured to be mounted onto an earbud. The body includes a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and an inner wall extending between the first and second ends. The inner wall defines and surrounds a hollow passage that is configured to conduct sound waves. The body also includes an outer wall that is connected to the inner wall at the first end and extends away from the inner wall toward the second end. The inner wall has an oblong cross-sectional shape that is configured to accommodate a corresponding nozzle on the earbud. The inner wall includes a ring that is formed of a rigid material and engages and conforms to the oblong shape of the nozzle, which inhibits improper mounting and rotation of the ear tip relative to the nozzle.
BLUETOOTH GLASSES
A pair of Bluetooth glasses is revealed. The Bluetooth glasses includes a glasses body with a first assembly portion disposed on a rear end of a temple thereof, a Bluetooth earphone having a second assembly portion arranged at a front end of an earphone body thereof, and a connection member. The second assembly portion is mounted into one end of a sleeve of the connection member while the first assembly portion on the temple is mounted into the other end of the sleeve. Thereby the temple is assembled with the Bluetooth earphone conveniently and various combinations of materials such as metals and plastic are used to increase Bluetooth glasses styles. Moreover, an adjustment knob is mounted to the earphone body of the Bluetooth earphone for switching between a front broadcast hole and a rear broadcast hole through which sounds from a speaker are output.
Headset with membrane coupling connecting the headband to the earpieces
A headset includes an earpiece coupled to a headband with a membrane coupling. The earpiece includes an outer housing and an audio driver positioned within and coupled to the outer housing. The membrane coupling includes a membrane insert composed of a resilient material. The membrane insert is coupled to the outer housing. A connection pin may extend through a central opening of the membrane insert and into an end of the headband in order to directly couple the end of the headband to the membrane insert in order to couple the outer housing to the end of the headband. The coupling of the end of the headband to the outer housing with the membrane insert in between defines the membrane coupling. The membrane coupling is designed to allow relative movement in six degrees of freedom comprising three orthogonal degrees of translation freedom and three orthogonal degrees of rotational freedom.
ADJUSTABLE HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY
An adjustable head-mounted display comprises a head-mounted portion (1), a display portion (2) and a sound outputting portion (3). The display portion (2) comprises two legs (21) and a display (22), one end of each leg (21) is connected to corresponding end of the display (22), and the other end of each leg (21) is rotatably connected to an end of the head-mounted portion (1) on corresponding side. The sound outputting portion (3) comprises a left headphone and a right headphone, wherein the left headphone and the right headphone each comprises an ear cup (32), an ear cup bracket and a sound generator in the ear cup. The ear cup bracket is connected to an end of the head-mounted portion (1) on corresponding side, and the ear cup is connected to the ear cup bracket; and the head-mounted portion (1) is provided with a head-mounted portion length adjustment mechanism. By the present disclosure, the user can adjust the length upon his demand, and the universality will be improved.
BIOLOGICALLY FIT WEARABLE ELECTRONICS APPARATUS AND METHODS
Detachable wearable electronic eyeglasses and head mounted gear with a plurality of electronic functions and interchangeable electronic function, and a wearable computer with optimal weight distribution and stretchable arms.
ERGONOMIC EARPIECE WITH ATTACHMENT MOUNT
Various techniques are provided to implement and use an earpiece having an attachment mount. In one example, an earpiece includes an arcuate rib having a lobe disposed on an upper end thereof and configured to engage with a crus of a helix and an antihelix of a user's ear. The earpiece also includes a mount extending from the arcuate rib and comprising a snap clip configured to engage and position an audio device in contact with the user's ear. Other implementations and related methods are also provided.
Audio assembly with long lever dipoles
An audio assembly provides audio content to a user. The audio assembly comprises an elongated body, a diaphragm, a transducer, and a plurality of vent assemblies. The elongated body has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The diaphragm is within the elongated body and pivots about a pivot location that is proximate the second end. The transducer is within the elongated body and is positioned proximate to the first end. The transducer causes the diaphragm to pivot about the pivot location such that the diaphragm generates a positive acoustic pressure wave from a first surface of the diaphragm and a negative acoustic pressure wave from a second surface of the diaphragm. The plurality of vent assemblies are along one or more surfaces of the elongated body, and are configured to vent the positive acoustic pressure wave and the negative acoustic pressure wave.
UNILATERAL DUAL TRANSDUCER STEREO HEADPHONE
A headphone in which both the left and right stereo channels are contained within a single earpiece (10) and separated by vertical positioning above (12) and below (14) the ear, rather than each ear receiving one stereo channel, as in traditional headphones. This allows the listener to hear the audio content of both stereo channels with a single ear, while still being able to distinguish between the two channels. The other earpiece of the headphone may be a “dummy” (20) which contains no speaker, and the headphone can be reversed depending on which ear the user wants to listen with. Optionally, the back of each earpiece can be opened, allowing the listener to experience stereo sound in one ear while listening to his/her surroundings with the other.
WEARABLE MODULAR TELECOMMUNICATION DEVICE
Wearable electronic device includes a neck loop worn on a neck with two electromechanical units; two in-ear earphones; two earphone cords. Each unit has an earphone cord winding mechanism including (i) a spool for winding the earphone cord; (ii) a double drive mechanism including an electric motor, a reducer, and a spiral spring; (iii) an engagement mechanism for engagement between the drive mechanism and the spool; and (iv) a lock mechanism. One unit has a motor control key for the electric motor and the lock mechanism. One end of the cords is connected to one of the earphones and the other end to one of the spools. The units are mechanically connected to each other to prevent twisting, and to the neck loop so that one of the units is on the left side of the chest, and the other electromechanical unit is on the right side of the chest.
PERSONAL ACOUSTIC SYSTEMS AND FLEXIBLE EARPIECE MOUNTS FOR THE SAME
A personal acoustic system and flexible mount for the same are disclosed. The flexible mount is comprised of an elastomeric material. The personal acoustic system further includes a band comprising a first mount and an earpiece comprising a second mount. An acoustic element is housed within the earpiece. The elastomeric mount is positioned intermediate the first mount and the second mount to flexibly connect the band to the earpiece.
