SUSPENSION SYSTEM MECHANISM
20180007456 · 2018-01-04 ·

A suspension system is provided with a frame to mount to a side surface of a speaker cabinet with a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. The suspension system is also provided with a lever arm with a proximal end and a distal end that are both adapted to connect to an upper support. The lever arm also has an intermediate portion that is pivotally connected to the frame about a pivot axis with a plurality of arcuate slots formed through. Each arcuate slot is formed with an end stop that corresponds to a splay angle of the speaker cabinet relative to the upper support, and each slot aligns with one of the apertures to receive a pin. Whereby suspending the speaker cabinet from the upper support pivots the lever arm in a first direction until the pin engages the end stop.

Display apparatus

A display apparatus includes a display panel configured to display an image, a circuit part including a printed circuit board disposed spaced apart from a first portion of the display panel and connected to the display panel, a first vibration device disposed at a rear surface of the display panel, and a second vibration device disposed at a rear surface of the printed circuit board.

Movable robot and method for tracking position of speaker by movable robot

Proposed is a method for determining, by a movable robot, a position of a speaker, wherein the movable robot includes first to fourth microphones installed at four vertexes of a quadrangle of a horizontal cross section of the robot respectively, wherein the method includes: receiving a wake-up voice through first and third microphones disposed respectively at first and third vertices in a diagonal direction; obtaining a first reference value of the first microphone and a second reference value of the third microphone based on the received wake-up voice; comparing the obtained first and second reference values to select the first microphone; selecting a second microphone disposed at a second vertex, wherein the first and second microphones are on a front side of the quadrangle; calculating a sound source localization (SSL) value based on the selected first and second microphones; and tracking a position of the speaker based on the SSL value.

Wearable device with directional audio

A wearable device can provide an audio module that is operable to provide audio output from a distance away from the ears of the user. For example, the wearable device can be worn on clothing of the user and direct audio waves to the ears of the user. Such audio waves can be focused by a parametric array of speakers that limit audibility by others. Thus, the privacy of the audio directed to the user can be maintained without requiring the user to wear audio headsets on, over, or in the ears of the user. The wearable device can further include microphones and/or connections to other devices that facilitate calibration of the audio module of the wearable device. The wearable device can further include user sensors that are configured to detect, measure, and/or track one or more properties of the user.

Modularized Loudspeaker System Exterior Aesthetic
20230239600 · 2023-07-27 ·

A loudspeaker design and methodology is disclosed that provides for the customization of a loudspeaker's exterior aesthetic that allows for ongoing and potentially endless graphic and artwork applications including those that can be customer defined. High definition graphics and other artwork are incorporated into panels that are made of various solid/semi-solid/non acoustically transparent material whose artwork and/or design aesthetic can be customer defined for each individual loudspeaker. The panels either separately or combined can have their own unique size, shape and artistic image/aesthetic. The panels are designed such that they require no frames and directly attach to the peripheral (sides, front/back, top, etc) of the enclosure while not covering the vibrating membranes/speaker drivers which would otherwise interfere with and compromise sound propagation and sound quality. The invention also includes methods for attaching the panels to the exterior of the loudspeaker cabinet which are designed to be quickly and easily detached/attached.

A SOUND OUTPUT UNIT AND A METHOD OF OPERATING IT

A system and a method for outputting sound where one or more first sound outputting units are identified and other, second, sound outputting units define a sound delay in accordance with the relative positions between each sound outputting unit and the first sound outputting unit(s). Microphones may be added to e.g. determine the amount and positions of persons.

The system may also use Intelligent cameras to determine number of people their position the room face direction and age distribution in order optimize audio level and equalisation of the frequency response—like in a church with many elder people or in a young audience at a live concert.

EQUIPMENT COMPONENT FOR A VEHICLE
20230211739 · 2023-07-06 ·

An equipment part for a vehicle, including a wing device having at least one wing. The wing is pivotably about a pivot axis between a first pivot position and a second pivot position. The wing has a base part and an extension part that is supported movably relative to the base part in a translatory manner between a base position and an extended position. An adjusting device has at least one motor drive and a transmission for executing the pivoting movement as well as the translatory movement of the wing. By way of the transmission, a conversion takes place of a rotary movement of the drive to a translatory movement of the extension part, wherein a torque about the axis of rotation is produced in the base part, with which torque the wing is pivotable between the first pivot position and the second pivot position.

SOUND APPARATUS AND SOUND SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

A sound apparatus may include a vibration member, a housing configured to cover a rear surface of the vibration member, and a vibration apparatus including one or more vibration devices configured to vibrate the vibration member. The vibration member may include a non-planar structure.

Acoustic loudspeaker comprising a cabinet and a rotary mounted speaker
20220417654 · 2022-12-29 ·

Acoustic loudspeaker (10) comprising a cabinet (12) extending in a direction (L), and a speaker (14) defining an acoustic axis (X). The cabinet defines a first axis (V1) perpendicular to the direction, and a second axis (V2) perpendicular to the direction and to the first axis.

The acoustic loudspeaker is intended to be used in a first configuration, wherein the first axis is essentially vertical, and a second configuration, wherein the second axis is essentially vertical.

The speaker is movable relative to the cabinet around an axis of rotation (D) between a first position, wherein the acoustic axis defines with the second axis a first angle less than 30°, and a second position, in which the acoustic axis defines with the first axis (V1) a second angle less than 30°. The axis of rotation makes two angles between 40° and 50° with the first axis and the second axis.

In an example, an electronic device may include a housing and a first acoustic device pivotally disposed in the housing. The first acoustic device may move between a first position within the housing and a second position outside the housing. The first acoustic device may direct an acoustic signal in a direction. Further, the electronic device may include a camera to capture an image of an area in front of the electronic device. Furthermore, the electronic device may include a processor operatively coupled to the camera and the first acoustic device. The processor may determine a location of a facial feature of an operator using the captured image. Further, the processor may control an angle of rotation of the first acoustic device relative to the housing based on the location of the facial feature to modify the direction of the acoustic signal.
