USER INTERFACE CONTROL OF MULTIPLE PARAMETERS FOR A HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICE
Disclosed herein, among other things, are methods and apparatus for a user interface control to allow control of multiple parameters from a single control for a hearing assistance device. One aspect of the present subject matter relates to hearing assistance device for a wearer, including a housing, hearing assistance electronics housed in the housing, and a tinnitus therapy generator housed in the housing. A user interface control is connected to the electronics and the generator, and the control is configured to sense input from the wearer and provide for selection and adjustment of operational parameters for the electronics and the generator based on the sensed input. Other aspects are provided without departing from the scope of the present subject matter.
Housing comprising a sensor
An assembly of at least one radiation detector, at least one radiation emitter and a housing configured to be positioned inside the ear canal of a person or animal, the detector(s) and emitter(s) being provided in or on the housing, the emitter(s) being configured to emit radiation away from the housing and the detector(s) being configured to receive radiation directed toward the housing. No overlap may be provided between the field of view of the radiation detector(s) and the emitter(s), such as by providing a blocking element.
Hearing assistance device fitting based on heart rate sensor
A heart rate sensor within a hearing assistance device may provide heart rate information or other sensor data, which may be used to determine how well the hearing assistance device fits the patient's ear. The heart rate sensor data provides quantitative feedback that indicates how well the hearing assistance device fits the patient's ear. The heart rate sensor data may be used to provide an indication to the patient to reseat or otherwise adjust the fitting of the hearing assistance device. The improved fitting process provides the ability for the audiologist and patient to identify a preferred or optimized hearing assistance device geometry. This improved fit provides improved performance and reliability of the hearing assistance device.
Apparatus for manipulation of ear devices
Disclosed herein are apparatuses for manipulation of an ear device within the ear canal of a subject. Also disclosed herein are methods of using said apparatuses for the insertion, removal, or other manipulations of the ear device. Also disclosed herein are methods of making the apparatuses, and kits containing the apparatus with instructions for use.

Also disclosed herein are methods of using said apparatuses for the insertion, removal, or other manipulations of the ear device. Also disclosed herein are methods of making the apparatuses, and kits containing the apparatus with instructions for use.
Personal Communication Device
A Personal Communication Device (PCD) is provided and includes a microphone, a speaker, and a PCD body, wherein the PCD body is configured as an ear cuff and includes a body first end, a body second end and a body middle portion. The PCD body further includes sound processing electronics, such that when a sound is received by the microphone, the sound processing electronics process the sound to generate a processed sound and communicates the processed sound to the speaker and outputs the processed sound into the user's ear canal, wherein the PCD is configured to be securely associated with an ear of a user such that when the PCD is associated with the ear of the user, and wherein the PCD is configured for wireless connectivity.
Communication device comprising an acoustical seal and a vent opening
A communication device configured for use in a user's ear canal including a sealing mechanism configured to acoustically seal a section of the ear canal and a sound conduit in acoustic communication with a sound source. The sound conduit has a first and second opening, a conduit housing, and a vent opening. To provide a reliable adjustment for the venting of sound waves between a sealed section of the ear canal and an ambient environment outside the sealed section, an acoustic valve having a valve member is moveably coupled with the conduit housing, which moveable coupling is configured to provide a relative motion of the valve member and the conduit housing, such that by such relative motion the acoustic valve provides for opening the vent opening, closing the vent opening, and/or adjusting a size of the vent opening. The communication device further includes an electrical actuator to activate the relative motion.
EAR-MOUNTABLE LISTENING DEVICE WITH MAGNETIC CONNECTOR
An ear-mountable listening device includes an acoustic package and an electronics package. The acoustic package is configured to emit audio in response to an audio signal. The acoustic package includes a first set of magnets arranged annularly about a central axis of the ear-mountable listening device. The electronics package is electrically coupled to the acoustic package when the ear-mountable listening device is worn to provide the audio signal to the acoustic package. The electronics package includes a second set of magnets arranged annularly about the central axis proximate to a proximal end of the electronics package to removably affix the electronics package to the acoustic package via magnetic forces between the first set of magnets and the second set of magnets.
HEARING DEVICE HAVING A POWER SOURCE
A hearing aid includes: a power source; and a switched capacitor DC-DC converter electrically connected to the power source and having an input part configured for receiving charge from the power source at an input voltage of an input voltage range; an output part having multiple output ports, the output part being configured for supplying charge to the multiple output ports for providing multiple predefined output voltages; at least one flying capacitor configured for redistributing charge from the power source to the multiple output ports and/or in between the output ports; and a switching circuitry having a plurality of switches configured for electrically switching the switched capacitor DC-DC converter based on a switching scheme so as to provide the multiple predefined output voltages based on the input voltage.
ACOUSTIC DEVICES AND SUPPORT ASSEMBLIES THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses an acoustic device and a support assembly thereof. The support assembly may include a shell configured to provide a space for accommodating one or more components of the acoustic device. The support assembly may further include an interaction assembly configured to realize an interaction between a user and the acoustic device, wherein the interaction assembly include a first component and one or more second components, in response to receiving an operation of the user, the first component is configured to trigger at least one of the one or more second components to cause the acoustic device to perform a function corresponding to the at least one of the one or more second components.
