NESTED CONDITIONAL MOBILITY PROCEDURES
Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for a nested conditional mobility procedure. In some cases, a method for wireless communications by a UE generally includes receiving configuration information configuring the UE for conditional handover (CHO) from a source master node (S-MN) to a target master node (T-MN) and for conditional primary secondary cell (PSCell) addition or change (CPAC) and performing a nested procedure based on an evaluation of conditions for both CHO and CPAAC in accordance with the configuration information.
Cell Selection Method and Apparatus
Embodiments of this application provide a cell selection method and an apparatus, and relate to the communications field. A terminal may determine a first measurement frequency and a 5G anchor cell at the first measurement frequency based on prior historical information. The terminal may shorten evaluation duration corresponding to a 5G anchor cell that meets a preferred condition at a first measurement frequency, so as to improve a probability that the terminal camps on the 5G anchor cell.
Method and apparatus for reduced capability terminal to determine intra-frequency cell reselection parameter via system information block 1 in mobile wireless communication system
A method and apparatus for selecting a NR cell in a mobile communication system are provided. Method for selecting a NR cell includes selecting, by a terminal, a first cell, acquiring, by the terminal in the first cell, a MIB, acquiring, by the terminal in the first cell, a SIB1 based at least in part on a first information in the MIB, considering, by the terminal, the first cell as barred, performing, by the terminal a first operation group if the SIB1 received in the first cell does not include a intraFreqReselection and performing, by the terminal a second operation group if the SIB1 received in the first cell includes the intraFreqReselection and the second intraFreqReselection is set to NotAllowed.
Method and apparatus for reduced capability terminal to determine intra-frequency cell reselection parameter in mobile wireless communication system
A method and apparatus for selecting a NR cell in a mobile communication system are provided. Method for selecting a NR cell includes selecting, by a terminal, a first cell, performing, by the terminal a first operation group if the terminal fails to acquire MIB in the first cell and performing, by the terminal a second operation group if the terminal succeeds to acquire MIB and SIB1 in the first cell and the MIB includes cellBarred set to barred and the SIB1 includes a intraFreqReselection set to NotAllowed.
Methods and system for performing handover in a wireless communication system
A method and system for performing handover in a third generation (3G) long term evolution (LTE) system are disclosed. A source evolved Node-B (eNode-B) makes a handover decision based on measurements and sends a handover request to a target eNode-B. The target eNode-B sends a handover response to the source eNode-B indicating that a handover should commence. The source eNode-B then sends a handover command to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). The handover command includes at least one of reconfiguration information, information regarding timing adjustment, relative timing difference between the source eNode-B and the target eNode-B, information regarding an initial scheduling procedure at the target eNode-B, and measurement information for the target eNode-B. The WTRU then accesses the target eNode-B and exchanges layer 1/2 signaling to perform downlink synchronization, timing adjustment, and uplink and downlink resource assignment based on information included in the handover command.
Network device handover method and terminal device
An embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a handover method between network devices and a terminal device. The method includes receiving, by a terminal device, at least one handover command corresponding to a plurality of target network devices, the at least one handover command corresponding to the plurality of target network devices including a first handover command, and the first handover command including configuration information of a first target network among the plurality of target network devices; if the terminal device determines to establish a connection with the first target network device according to the first handover command, starting, by the terminal device, a first access timer corresponding to the first target network device; and establishing, by the terminal device, a connection with the first target network device according to the first access timer.
Managing client devices on access points
An access point configured to manage client devices connected to the access point. The access point initiates an operational change. The access point generates an announcement to be included in a network frame based on the operational change. The announcement includes at least a list of neighboring access points with which the client devices can connect to and a first time period by which the client devices must connect to at least one neighboring access point included in the list of neighboring access points. The access point broadcasts the network frame to the client devices. Upon expiration of the first time period, the access point disassociates client devices that remain connected to the access point.
ENHANCING STANDALONE ACQUISITION TIMELINES FOR MILLIMETER WAVE DEVICES
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method includes receiving, from a first base station, control signaling indicating one or more frequency bands on which one or more neighbor base stations operate that are associated with a first geographic location of the first base station, performing, based on the control signaling, a frequency scanning procedure using at least one frequency band of the one or more frequency bands to select a first neighbor base station of the one or more neighbor base stations, and establishing connectivity with the first neighbor base station based on the frequency scanning procedure.
Methods, systems, and devices for detecting a neighboring base station to perform a handover for an unmanned aerial vehicle in a mobile network
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving a notification from a serving base station regarding a communication device over a mobile network indicating discovery of a target base station, and obtaining a device type of the communication device and a first cell identifier of the target base station. Further embodiments include providing instructions to the serving base station to request the communication device to obtain a second cell identifier of the target base station, and obtaining the second cell identifier of the target base station from the serving base station over the mobile network. Additional embodiments include providing instructions to the serving base station to generate a communication link between the serving base station and the target base station based on the second cell identifier.
