One method includes detecting a first event or receiving a command for enabling a transportation mode, running a transportation mode power-saving scheme in response to receiving the first event or the command, and exiting the transportation mode power-saving scheme in response to detecting a second event.
Method and apparatus for a power-efficient framework to maintain data synchronization of a mobile personal computer to simulate a connected scenario
An apparatus and method for a power-efficient framework to maintain data synchronization of a mobile personal computer (MPC) are described. In one embodiment, the method includes the detection of a data synchronization wakeup event while the MPC is operating according to a sleep state. Subsequent to wakeup event, at least one system resource is disabled to provide a minimum number of system resources required to re-establish a network connection. In one embodiment, user data from a network server is synchronized on the MPC without user intervention; the mobile platform system resumes operation according to the sleep state. In one embodiment, a wakeup alarm is programmed according to a user history profile regarding received e-mails. In a further embodiment, data synchronizing involves disabling a display, and throttling the system processor to operate at a reduced frequency. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Terminal measurement method and apparatus, and terminal
The embodiments of the disclosure provide a measurement method and apparatus for a terminal, as well as a terminal. The measurement method includes that: a terminal acquires first indication information, the first indication information being for determining a measurement parameter of a dedicated measurement frequency, the measurement parameter of the dedicated measurement frequency being a first measurement parameter and/or a second measurement parameter, and the first measurement parameter being greater than the second measurement parameter.
NR Control Channel Element Detections to Reduce Blind Demodulation and Decoding
This disclosure relates to techniques for reducing blind decoding of downlink control channels in a wireless communication system. The techniques may include determining whether a control channel pilot signal, such as a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) is present within a set of control carrier entities, and accordingly determining whether the downlink control channel is present within the set of control channel elements. In this manner, a number of candidates for blind decoding may be reduced.
Method and apparatus for maintenance of bandwidth part
A method and an apparatus for maintenance of a bandwidth part. The method and apparatus resolve an issue of the prior art in which expiration of a bandwidth part deactivation timer during a random access process changes the bandwidth part to a default bandwidth part, such that data cannot be transmitted on an optimal bandwidth part, and may even cause an interruption of an ongoing data transmission, while also affecting an ongoing random access process. In embodiments of the present invention, a terminal keeps a current active bandwidth part unchanged during a random access process, and performs a restart operation of a bandwidth part deactivation timer after the random access process is successfully completed, such that a situation where a bandwidth part changes to a default bandwidth part does not occur during the random access process, thereby reducing interruption to ongoing data transmissions and reducing the impact on ongoing random access processes.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING WIRELESS POWER
A method and apparatus are provided for determining, by a wireless power transmitter, whether a wireless power receiver is removed from a wireless power network managed by the wireless power transmitter. The method includes transmitting a command signal to report power information of the wireless power receiver at stated periods; determining whether a report signal corresponding to the command signal is received from the wireless power receiver; and determining that the wireless power receiver is removed from the wireless power network, if the report signal is not received after transmitting the command signal a predetermined number of times at the stated periods.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING WIRELESS POWER
A method and apparatus are provided for controlling wireless power in a wireless power network managed by a wireless power transmitter. The control method includes registering a wireless power receiver to a wireless power network corresponding to the wireless power transmitter; applying a charging power for charging the wireless power receiver to a resonator of the wireless power transmitter; detecting a change of magnitude of power applied to the resonator; detecting that a communication unit of the wireless power transmitter fails to receive a communication signal from the wireless power receiver a predetermined time; and in response to detecting the change of the magnitude of power applied to the resonator and that the communication unit fails to receive the communication signal from the wireless power receiver in the predetermined time, removing the wireless power receiver from the wireless power network.
Wireless Patient Monitoring System and Method
A patient monitoring system includes at least two wireless sensing devices, each configured to measure a different physiological parameter from a patient and wirelessly transmit a parameter dataset. The system further includes a receiver that receives each parameter dataset, a processor, and a monitoring regulation module executable on the processor to assign one of the at least two wireless sensing devices as a dominant wireless sensing device and at least one of the remaining wireless sensing devices as a subordinate wireless sensing device. The physiological parameter measured by the dominant wireless sensing device is a key parameter and the parameter dataset transmitted by the dominant wireless sensing device is a key parameter dataset. The key parameter dataset from the dominant wireless sensing device is processed to determine a stability indicator. The subordinate wireless sensing device is then operated based on the stability indicator for the key parameter.
INDICATION METHOD OF POWER SAVING MODE, AND TERMINAL AND NETWORK SIDE DEVICE
An indication method of a power saving mode includes: instructing, by a network side device in a channel occupancy time (COT) of an unlicensed band, a terminal to enter a power saving mode.
