According to various example embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device may comprise: a sensor module; a first communication circuit supporting a first communication scheme; a low-power processor; and a processor operatively connected to the sensor module, the first communication circuit, and the low-power processor, wherein the first communication circuit transmits a request signal related to a state of the electronic device to the low-power processor on the basis of distance measurement-related information provided from the processor, receives information related to the state of the electronic device from the low-power processor in response to the request signal, and measures a distance to an external electronic device on the basis of the information related to the state of the electronic device. Other embodiments may also be possible.

Embodiments are disclosed for disabling/re-enabling head tracking for spatial audio applications. In an embodiment, a method comprises: obtaining, using one or more processors of an auxiliary device worn by a user, motion data; tracking, using the one or more processors, the user's head based at least in part on the motion data; determining, using the one or more processors, whether or not the user is walking based at least in part on the motion data; in accordance with determining that the user is walking, determining if a source device configured to deliver spatial audio to the auxiliary device is static for a specified period of time; and in accordance with determining that the user is walking and the source device is static for the specified period of time, disabling the head tracking.

The low power consumption parameter includes an actual wakeup periodicity of the station and an actual receive window length within which the station receives the beacon packet, or the low power consumption parameter includes an actual wakeup periodicity of the station, and the actual wakeup periodicity of the station is greater than a preconfigured wakeup periodicity of the station.

The method includes when a magnetic field sensed by a Hall device of a terminal in a standby state is less than or equal to a first preset threshold, activating a sensor of the terminal, where the Hall device is configured to sense a magnetic field generated by a magnet in a protective case of the terminal. The method also includes obtaining, by using detection data of the sensor, whether the terminal is obstructed, and maintaining the standby state of the terminal when it is obtained that the terminal is obstructed. The method and the terminal provided in the present invention are applied to the terminal.
