WI-FI COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of this application provide a Wi-Fi communication method and apparatus, and relate to the wireless communication field. A station may obtain detection information including a start time point at which an access point actually sends a beacon packet to the station for one time, obtain a low power consumption parameter based on the detection information and a first time interval, and receive the beacon packet from the access point based on the low power consumption parameter. The low power consumption parameter includes an actual wakeup periodicity of the station and an actual receive window length within which the station receives the beacon packet, or the low power consumption parameter includes an actual wakeup periodicity of the station, and the actual wakeup periodicity of the station is greater than a preconfigured wakeup periodicity of the station.

The present disclosure relates to an electronic device supporting dual connectivity (ENDC) between a 4G network (LTE) and a 5G network (NR), and the electronic device may include a first communication module connected to a 4G base station to perform control and signal processing for transmission and reception of signals through a 4G network; a second communication module connected to a 5G base station to perform control and signal processing for transmission and reception of signals through a 5G network; an application processor (AP) that detects a change of an operation state of the electronic device when the operation state is changed; and a modem that activates only the first communication module to perform wireless communication with the 4G base station, or further activates the second communication module to perform wireless communication with both the 4G base station and the 5G base station according to the operation state of the electronic device detected by the AP.
Method and system for saving power of a battery associated with item/s
Aspects of the invention are directed towards a system and method for saving power of a battery associated with item/s. One or more embodiments of the invention describe the method comprising steps of receiving a location and a charged status of a battery associated with each of one or more items placed inside a container. The method further describes steps of assigning a cluster to a group of items from the one or more items based on the location of each of the one or more items and identifying a master item from the group of items based on the charged status of each item in the cluster. The method also describes steps of transmitting a message to the master item for sensing a parameter for the group of items in the cluster and receiving a sensed parameter from the master item for the group of items.
Apparatus and Method for Enabling Broadcast of a Wireless Signal when Switching Operation Mode
An apparatus configured to broadcast a wireless signal when a processing circuitry of the apparatus is in a non-active state. The broadcasted signals can be used to localize the apparatus when the apparatus is lost. The apparatus has a first processing circuitry configured to operate in an active power consuming mode and a non-active low power consuming mode. The apparatus further has a wireless transmit circuitry configured to be in an active mode and broadcast a wireless signal when the first processing circuitry switches operation mode from the active mode to the non-active mode. The first processing circuitry is powered by a battery supply, and the first processing circuitry may be configured to automatically switch from the active mode to the non-active mode when the supply voltage provided by the battery supply decreases below a threshold voltage, whereby the wireless circuitry will be broadcasting.
Method for Controlling Screen of User Terminal and User Terminal
A method for controlling a screen of a user terminal includes the follows. A touch operation on a screen is detected in a black screen state. When a preset condition is met, the screen is controlled to switch from the black screen state to a bright screen state in which the screen brightness is the target brightness value. A user terminal is also provided.
UE ASSISTANCE INFORMATION FOR POWER SAVING CONFIGURATION
An UE transmits at least one UE configuration parameter to a base station comprising at least one preferred parameter for a UE configuration, e.g., in addition to a preferred setting for a delay budget report. The UE then receives a configuration from the base station based, at least in part, on the at least one UE configuration parameter transmitted to the base station. Additionally, a base station receives the at least one UE configuration parameter from a UE comprising at least one preferred parameter for a UE configuration, e.g., in addition to a preferred setting for a delay budget report. The base station then configures the UE using the at least one UE configuration parameter received from the UE.
Method for reducing power consumption of terminal in mobile communication system using multi-carrier structure
A method for reducing power consumption of a terminal that communicates with a base station in a mobile communication system using a multi-carrier structure composed of a primary component carrier and at least one secondary component carrier comprises: receiving a discontinuous reception (DRX) parameter group for multi carriers from the base station; and setting the multi carriers to the same parameter value, by using the received parameter group. The method for reducing power consumption of the terminal further comprises: performing a downlink control channel receive operation on each carrier according to a DRX cycle. As the base station in the mobile communication system using the multi-carrier structure simplifies the DRX process for reducing power consumption of a terminal by reducing signaling load for the multi-carrier control of the terminal, it becomes possible to reduce power consumption of the terminal.
Communication device and system with ground potential difference compensation
A communication device for connection with a power source and a host device is provided. The communication device comprises a device controller and a converter circuit. The device controller is adapted for data communication with the host device and the converter circuit is configured to provide a virtual device ground at least to the device controller, so as to compensate a ground potential difference between the host device and the communication device.
Battery-Powered Wireless Electronic Device Switchable Between High and Low Power Operating Modes
A method of and system for conserving power of a battery in a battery-powered electronic device capable of wireless communications are disclosed. The electronic device, which can be a digital video camera or other component of a monitoring system or an HVAC controller, an appliance, or another aspect of a smart home system, is wirelessly communicable with one or more hubs over a wireless local area network. The electronic device has at least a high power radio and a low power radio operating at different frequencies. Communications switch from the high power radio to the low power radio upon the occurrence of a trigger event such as battery charge dropping below a designated threshold. The electronic device may be part of a WLAN coupled to a WAN via the Internet and a cellular network.
Low power mode for payment transactions
This application relates to systems, methods, and apparatus for using a computing device to perform payment transactions while the computing device is operating in a low power wallet mode during a low battery state of the computing device. During a low power wallet mode, various subsystems are prevented from receiving current from a battery of the computing device, while a near field communication (NFC) system of the computing device is provided with an operating current for detecting target systems. A target system and the NFC system can communicate during the low power wallet mode of the computing device, thereby allowing a user of the computing device to conduct payment transactions when the computing device is in a low power wallet mode. Such payment transactions can be useful if the user is ever stranded without enough power to fully operate the computing device and needs to pay for transportation.
