METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TIMELY SCHEDULING

Embodiments of the present application are directed to a method and apparatus for timely scheduling. The method may include: configuring DRX configuration information; and preventing a MAC entity from entering into inactive time in response to that a first MAC PDU is not transmitted in an uplink grant.

COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
20230046573 · 2023-02-16 ·

This application relates to the intelligent cockpit field and provides a communication method and apparatus, to reduce communication interference between devices. In this application, if priorities of one or more second devices are lower than a priority of a first device, the first device sends second information to the one or more second devices, where the second information includes a communication resource allocated by the first device to the one or more second devices and the priority of the first device. When the priorities of the one or more second devices are lower than the priority of the first device, the first device may allocate the communication resource to the one or more second devices. This can avoid communication interference between different communication domains that is caused by a conflict between communication resources, and improve communication performance of the devices.

Methods of conveying buffer status with mixed critical and non-critical traffic

A method by a wireless device (110) includes determining that the wireless device has data to transmit on at least one logical channel of a priority N. The logical channel is associated with at least one logical channel group. The method further includes generating, by the wireless device, a buffer status report of type N, BSR N, for the at least one logical channel of the priority N and prioritizing a transmission of the BSR N for the at least one logical channel of priority N over a data transmission for at least one other logical channel that has a priority that is higher than the priority N.

Co-channel co-existence in a wireless communications system

There are provided mechanisms for sharing channels in a wireless communications system among wireless devices that use a plurality of different access technologies. First and second wireless devices are operable to share a channel in the wireless communication system with each other. The first wireless device is operable to provide an indication to the second wireless device that the first wireless device is using a first access technology to access the channel. The second wireless device is operable to receive the indication and determine, based on the indication, that the first wireless device is using a first access technology to access the channel. Accordingly, the second wireless device can determine, based on compatibility of its access technology with that of the first wireless device, whether to refrain from using the channel or to share the channel.

UPLINK (UL) RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR A MEDIUM ACCESS CONTROL (MAC) CONTROL ELEMENT (CE)

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The UE detects one or more conditions are met for transmitting a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) providing assistance information to a network entity for scheduling. In response to the detection, the UE then takes one or more actions to obtain uplink (UL) resources for transmitting the MAC CE.

UPLINK REFERENCE SIGNAL BUNDLING TECHNIQUES IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may perform uplink reference signal bundling for access link communications and transmit sidelink communications using time or frequency division multiplexed resources. The UE may determine to drop or to transmit a sidelink communication based on a relationship with multiple instances of an uplink reference signal that are to maintain phase continuity. The UE may drop a sidelink communication when a time duration between two instances of the uplink reference signal is less than or equal to a time threshold value, and may transmit the sidelink communication when the time duration exceeds the time threshold value. In frequency division multiplexed cases, the UE may set a transmission power for each instance of the uplink reference signal, and the sidelink communication may use a remaining amount of power.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING UPLINK TRANSMISSION

A method for processing uplink transmission includes: in response to uplink transmission of a first priority and uplink transmission of a second priority overlapping in a time domain, determining a target time point, where the first priority is higher than the second priority; and cancelling the uplink transmission of the second priority after the target time point, where the target time point is determined at least partially according to an available time domain position of the uplink transmission of the first priority.

Use of network signaling (NS) values to cooperatively control spectral emission and additional functionality such as uplink/downlink subcarrier shifting
11595962 · 2023-02-28 · ·

A method and system to help prevent legacy devices that do not support a service feature such as uplink-downlink subcarrier shifting from connecting with an access node on a carrier where the service feature should be applied. An example method involves use of Network Signaling (NS) values that are used for spectral emission control. Per the disclosure, the access node could broadcast an NS value that legacy device are not configured to understand but that newer devices are configured to understand as relating to both spectral emission limitation and also the service feature at issue. Responsive to the broadcast of that NS value, the legacy devices will therefore not connect with the access node, while the newer devices may connect with the access node and apply the service feature.

Fair Distribution Of Radio Resources Between Guaranteed Bit Rate (GBR) And Non-GBR Data Bearers

User equipments (UEs) may be scheduled by determining relative priorities of data radio bearers (DRBs), each DRB associated with a respective UE. A limit is established dividing radio resources available for allocation in the cell during a scheduling period into at least a first limited portion and a second remaining portion. According to the determined relative priorities: a) up to the first limited portion of the radio resources are allocated to only the DRBs that have a guaranteed bit rate (GBR), and thereafter b) the second remaining portion of the radio resources are allocated to only the DRBs which have not been fully allocated from the first limited portion. Schedules indicating this allocation are transmitted to the respective UEs. In carrier aggregation where each carrier aggregated cells has a respective plurality of DRBs, relative priorities for each respective plurality of DRBs are determined for each carrier aggregated cell.
