09832849 · 2017-11-28 ·

Emergency light devices, systems and methods that provide instant light in a power outage or other situations. One or more sensors monitor the flow of electricity, and when the flow of electricity is stopped or no longer present, an emergency light device power monitoring device instantly communicates via wireless communication technology to emergency light device(s) to instantly turn on the emergency light device(s). The emergency light device(s) can be a portable and/or permanent unit of varying shapes and sizes, and can be attached to any object, or may stand alone, with some or all of its parts being replaceable, interchangeable, or upgradeable.

Multi-source homework lamp

The disclosure discloses a multi-source homework lamp comprising: a first lampshade and a second lampshade connected to a shaft, wherein the first lampshade and the second lampshade are rotatable around the shaft; main lights disposed inside each of the lampshades; and a control unit for controlling the luminance of the main lights and controlling the rotation of the first lampshade and the second lampshade, thereby controlling the angle between the two. In the multi-source homework lamp according to the disclosure, by a design of the two-piece main lights with the angle being variable, the illuminance is caused to be more uniform, and the illumination range and the illumination luminance of the homework lamp may be adjusted more conveniently.

APPARATUS, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A LOAD DEVICE VIA A POWER LINE BY USING A POWER NEGOTIATIION PROTOCOL
20170325320 · 2017-11-09 ·

The present invention proposes to use a power negotiation connection (e.g. the VBUS channel) of a power delivery interface for transmitting or receiving control commands or, respectively, status information to/from a lighting device. The power negotiation connection can be used as a communication channel that is fully independent of the data connection. It uses, for example, different protocols and different wires than the data connection. Control commands, such as dim level or color, can be encoded in a vendor defined message of a related power negotiation protocol.

Control method for information apparatus and computer-readable recording medium

A control method causing a computer of the information apparatus to: display a display screen on the display, the display screen representing a floor plan for one floor including at least two rooms; display device icons representing target devices on the display screen, the device icons including an illumination icon which represents illumination devices, the illumination icon being commonly used for the illumination devices installed in the at least two rooms; and cause the floor plan represented by the display screen to function as an operation screen for controlling the illumination devices, and display a region of the floor plan with brightness not less than specific brightness, when selection of the illumination icon is sensed, the region corresponding to a room in which an illumination device whose power is in an on state is installed.

Efficient address assignment in coded lighting positioning systems

Remote controllers, positioning systems, and methods configured for the efficient assignment of addresses in a coded lighting positioning system are proposed. Particularly, a proposed remote controller comprises a receiver for receiving coded light from a light source in a coded lighting positioning system, where the coded light comprises an initial light source identifier of the light source. The remote controller also comprises a processing unit for assigning a modified light source identifier to the light source based on the received coded light, and a transmitter for transmitting the modified light source identifier to the light source. The modified light source identifier is a locally unique identifier used to provide positional information.
