11597124 · 2023-03-07 ·

A method of heat treating post-tensioning strand wedges that enhances efficiency, repeatability and safety is provided. The method includes providing a plurality of post-tensioning strand wedges, transporting each post-tensioning strand wedge to a heating assembly having a first induction heater, heating each post-tensioning strand wedge using the first induction heater of the heating assembly to form a heated post-tensioning strand wedge in a plurality of heated post-tensioning strand wedges, and delivering the plurality of heated post-tensioning strand wedges to perform a series of actions.

POWER SUPPLY DEVICE, JOINING SYSTEM, AND ELECTRIC PROCESSING METHOD

There is provided a power supply device that supplies an output current to an electric processing device which performs electric processing on workpieces. The device includes: a first power supply; a magnetic energy recovery switch that receives a current supplied from the first power supply, and converts the received current into the output current; and a control unit that controls the magnetic energy recovery switch such that an electric current frequency of the output current includes a first electric current frequency and a second electric current frequency which are different from each other within a one-time electric processing time using the electric processing device.

Sealing Head

An induction sealing head, an induction sealing system and a method for sealing a closure to an aperture of a container are disclosed. The induction sealing head is for sealing a closure to an aperture of a container, and includes an induction coil, wherein the induction coil is wound about an axis, and has a first portion lying substantially in a first plane perpendicular to the axis, and a second portion stepped out of the first plane, and lying substantially in a second plane parallel with the first plane.

COIL FOR MAGNETIC-PULSE WELDING OF FLAT PARTS AND RELATED WELDING METHOD

A coil to magnetic-pulse weld parts including an active portion, one surface of which is referred to as an active surface, is arrangeable to face one of the parts at an area of overlap between the parts. The active surface has, across the width L.sub.b thereof, an angled profile such that the active surface has a non-zero angle in relation to a plane. At least at the working area, the part closest to the active surface extends along the plane, when the parts are positioned at the coil for welding. A related magnetic-pulse welding method is also provided herewith.

System and method for the recycling of rare earth magnets

A system and a method for separating and recycling magnets made from rare earth elements from an article of manufacture used an alignment device to property position the rare earth magnet for processing. Once proper alignment is made, a separating device removes the magnet and a portion of the article. A heating device demagnetizes the magnets and vibration causes the magnets to separate from the portion of the article. Electromagnets remove the portion of the article and the rare earth magnets pass through for reclamation.

Induction dryer

In an induction heater, preheated, pressurized air is further heated in the heating cabinet and also drawn into the coil tube via a suction fan. The simultaneous pulling and pushing of the twice-heated air through the tube provides superior air flow to pick up more moisture from the can ends being dried. The tube ends rest on upwardly concave collars and are held in place by gravity, with a single screw acting as a stop above to prevent upward movement. Removal requires only removing the single screw at each end then lifting the tube straight up out of the cabinet, which is facilitated by providing a hinged cover on the cabinet.

Heating device and corresponding apparatus and method

A heating device and/or method to heat a slab, and in particular its edges, by electromagnetic induction, including an electric coil and a magnetic concentrator associated with the electric coil.

Induction heating coil and its manufacturing method

An induction heating coil according to the present disclosure includes a pair of arcuate pipes curved in an arcuate shape along a circumferential direction of an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical object to be heated, and a straight pipe connecting one ends of the arcuate pipes to each other, in which at least one wall is formed inside the straight pipe, the at least one wall extending along a longitudinal direction of the straight pipe and dividing an internal path of the straight pipe into a plurality of paths, and at least one rhombic through holes is formed in the wall.
