Circuit board component and terminal
Provided are a circuit board component and a terminal. The circuit board component includes: a circuit board and a wire disposed on the circuit board, where the wire includes a first portion and a second portion, a line width of the first portion is greater than or equal to a line width threshold, and a line width of the second portion is less than the line width threshold.
Impedance matching within a signal transmission channel
A printed circuit board for an information handling system includes a trace, a routing component, and one or more intermediate components. The trace has a first impedance, and the routing component has a second impedance. The intermediate components have respective intermediate impedances. Each of the intermediate impedances has a corresponding value in a range between a value of the first impedance and a value of the second impedance. The one or more intermediate impedances reduce an impedance discontinuity between the trace and the routing component.
PCB AND TERMINAL DEVICE USING SAME
Disclosed in the present application are a PCB and a terminal device using the PCB. At least one electric conductor is added on an exposed section of the PCB, so that the exposed section is divided into at least two sections, thereby the problem of noise interference can be solved without extensively changing the original circuit of the PCB. In this way, the project cycle and test resource can be greatly saved, and the problem of radiation noise generated by the exposed section can be completely solved.
SIGNAL TRANSMISSION LINE
A signal transmission line includes a signal region that includes a signal conductor layer and insulating base material layers, and a first ground region that includes a first ground conductor layer and insulating base material layers and is located above the signal region. The signal region is not fixed to the first ground region in a first section of a base. One or more first spacers are fixed to the signal region and in contact with the first ground region without being fixed thereto, or are in contact with the signal region without being fixed thereto and fixed to the first ground region. The one or more first spacers are in the first section.
Radio-Frequency Transmission Line Structures Across Printed Circuits
An electronic device may include one or more radios and one or more antennas. Radio-frequency transmission lines may couple a radio to a corresponding antenna. To more efficiently form a radio-frequency transmission line, the radio-frequency transmission line may be formed from interconnected conductive traces distributed between a plurality of printed circuits. By integrating transmission line structures onto printed circuits that also serve other functions, the device can require less space to implement a radio-frequency transmission line. While one or more of these printed circuits may individually be unsuitable to implement a radio-frequency transmission line with a particular impedance, the composite impedance of these transmission line structures across the printed circuits, when properly configured, may provide a radio-frequency transmission line with the particular impedance.
TRANSMISSION LINE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
In a transmission line, a thickness of a second section is smaller than that of a first section and of a third section. A center of the second section is above a center of the first section and a center of the third section in a laminated body up-down direction. A distance between a second signal conductor layer and a neutral plane of the second section is shorter than a distance between a first signal conductor layer and a neutral plane of the second section and a distance between a third signal conductor layer and a neutral plane of the second section in the laminated body up-down direction. A length of the second signal conductor layer between first and second interlayer connection conductors is equal to or less than about ½ of a wavelength of a high-frequency signal transmitted by the transmission line.
Transmission line board, and joint structure of transmission line board
A transmission line board includes an insulating substrate including a first principal surface, first and second signal lines, first and second signal electrodes, which are provided at the insulating substrate. The first signal electrode is connected to the first signal line, and is connected by capacitive coupling to a different circuit board. The second signal electrode is connected to the second signal line, and is connected to the different circuit board via a conductive binder. The first signal line is provided to transmit a signal in a first frequency band, and the second signal line is provided to transmit a signal in a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band.
Transmission line and mounting structure thereof
A transmission line includes connecting portion connected to the outside and a main body connected to the connecting portion. The connecting portion includes a terminal electrode connected to an external electrode, a signal conductor, and a ground conductor. The main body includes the signal conductor and the ground conductor. The connecting portion includes a first region including the terminal electrode, a second region adjacent to the first region along a signal transmission path, and a third region located between the second region and the main body. Impedance matching at the at least one of the connecting portions is achieved by the first region, the second region, and the third region.
