Tool for installation of OCP form factor card
An insertion tool for assisting in the insertion of an OCP 3.0 type expansion card in an expansion card slot of a computer system is disclosed. The expansion card may be a pull tab type form factor that does not have a mechanism such as an ejector latch to assist in applying force to insert the card. The expansion card has a front panel opposite a distal edge connector. The tool has a handle and a head coupled to the handle. The head has two contact areas that contact different areas of the front panel of the expansion card. For example, one of the contact areas may be an extended side arm and the other area may be a lateral rib extending from the head.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INSERTION AND REMOVAL OF INFORMATION HANDLING RESOURCE MODULE
In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a tool may include a main body and a plurality of fingers extending from one side of the main body, the fingers arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns such that in each of the plurality of rows, each pair of adjacent fingers in a row may have a gap formed in between such pair of adjacent fingers such that each gap may receive a component for insertion or removal from a system and such that the adjacent fingers apply a force to the component to retain the component within the tool. The tool may also include a receptacle formed at one end of the main body and configured to receive a removable arm, and wherein the removable arm is configured to receive a plurality of removable fingers.
Electronic coupler removal tool
An electronic coupler removal tool (100) that includes a housing (102), a wall (104), a hook member (106), an electronic coupler-receiving portion (108), and an electronic coupler-release mechanism (202), is provided. The housing includes a first surface (102a), a second surface (102b) and a third surface (102c). The wall extends substantially perpendicularly from the first surface. The hook member extends substantially perpendicularly from the wall and is configured to receive a cable portion (308) coupled to an electronic coupler (300). The hook member, the wall, and the first surface define the electronic coupler-receiving portion that is configured to slidably receive the electronic coupler. The electronic coupler release mechanism includes a plunger rod (204) having a first end (210) and a second end (212) and is movable with respect to the housing (102) to engage a locking tab (306) of the electronic coupler at least partially within the electronic coupler-receiving portion.

Mechanism to release cards and other components from computer
A lifting structure in the form of a release hook configured to conveniently and easily release computer components from their supporting structure by a simple pivoting action in response to lifting of thumbscrews. A typical computer component would be a PCIe card within a GPU tray. The lifting structure does not require the use of tools to release the computer components, and can be used where computer components ordinarily cannot be released by human fingers due to limitations of space. The lifting structure lifts the computer component to a height where the computer component can then be easily grasped by human fingers for removal of the component.
Electronic component removal device
An electronic component removal device comprising a cutting wire routed through a cutting region configured to receive an electronic component coupled to a substrate. The electronic component removal device can also include a leading actuator coupled to a leading end of the cutting wire to cause movement of the cutting wire in a cutting direction at a cutting speed. The electronic component removal device can further include a trailing resistance device coupled to a trailing end of the cutting wire to resist movement of the cutting wire in the cutting direction with a variable resistance. In addition, the electronic component removal device can include a leading tension sensor to sense a leading tension in the cutting wire between the cutting region and the leading actuator. The trailing resistance device can resist movement of the cutting wire with a resistance that varies based on the leading tension in the cutting wire.
Component detachment jig
A relay detachment jig includes a handle, a pair of holders that holds a relay, a hold releasing unit that connects the handle and the pair of holders and that is elastically deformable, a deformation restricting unit that restricts elastic deformation of the hold releasing unit, an engagement releasing unit that releases the engagement between the relay and a housing member, and a movement restricting unit that restricts a movement of the relay held in the relay detachment jig in a detaching direction. The handle is provided in a manner extending in the detaching direction from the hold releasing unit.
