Curved display device including a printed circuit board
A display device may include a display panel having a display area and a non-display area located in a first direction from the display area, a printed circuit board located in the first direction from the non-display area and configured to generate a signal, a driving film connected to the non-display area of the display panel and configured to drive the display panel in response to the signal, and a connecting film having a first end connected to the non-display area of the display panel and a second end connected to the printed circuit board. The connecting film electrically connects the printed circuit board and the driving film.
Object provided with an electro-optic display device
An object includes an electro-optic display device provided with an optically active element, the optical properties thereof can be modified by applying an electric voltage or current between at least one electrode and one corresponding auxiliary electrode, between which the optically active element is disposed. The object further includes a middle part which delimits an opening closed by a crystal including a bottom surface beneath which the electro-optic display device is arranged. The crystal is provided with an opaque frame which is made remotely from the edges of the opening and which covers the contour of the electro-optic display device so as to conceal electrical connection elements. The electro-optic display device defines an active display area which is confined by the opaque frame, such that, when the electro-optic display device is activated and displaying information, a transparent area remains between the opaque frame and the edges of the opening.

A display device includes a display panel including panel pads adjacent to the side surface of a display panel; connection pads disposed on the side surface of the display panel and connected to the panel pads; and a circuit board disposed on the side surface of the display panel and including lead signal lines directly bonded to the connection pads, wherein the connection pads include a first connection pad, a second connection pad disposed on the first connection pad, and a third connection pad disposed on the second connection pad, and the first connection pad is in contact with corresponding one of the panel pads, and the third connection pad is directly bonded to corresponding one of the lead signal lines.

The application discloses a dual-layer display assembly and a display device. The dual-layer display assembly includes a first display screen, a second display screen, a first print circuit board, a second print circuit board and a fixing structure, where the second display screen is arranged in layers with the first display screen; the first print circuit board drives the first display screen; the second print circuit board drives the second display screen; and the fixing structure connects and fixes the first print circuit board and the second print circuit board.

A mounting substrate manufacturing apparatus includes a first FPC-side pressing member 51 configured to press and heat a first mounting component group 31 including one edge side mounting component that is a flexible printed circuit board 13 arranged on one edge in an arrangement direction in which flexible printed circuit boards 13 arranged on an array substrate 11B and thermally press and bond the first mounting component group 31 on the array substrate 11B, and a second FPC-side pressing member 52 arranged next to the first FPC-side pressing member 51 in the arrangement direction and configured to press and heat a second mounting component group 32 including all the flexible printed circuit boards 13 except for the first mounting component group 31 and thermally press and bond the second mounting component group 32 on the array substrate 11B.

FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT FILM AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A flexible circuit film including a first flexible film, a second flexible film facing the first flexible film, and a plurality of wirings arranged between the first flexible film and the second flexible film. The wirings have different widths and bend in different directions, and a guide film including a material more rigid than the first and second flexible films is arranged on ends of the first flexible film. The guide film includes a tear-preventing portion overlapping with a bending portion of a shortest one of the wirings while covering portions of an inner edge near inner corners of a U-shaped flexible circuit film.

A device for inserting a flexible printed circuit board into a connector of a display panel includes: a suction unit configured to adhere to the flexible printed circuit board; a position restriction unit configured to restrict a position of the flexible printed circuit board; and a flexible printed circuit board transfer unit coupled to the suction unit and the position restriction unit, and configured to insert the flexible printed circuit board into the connector. A method of inserting a flexible printed circuit board into a connector of a display panel is also disclosed.
