A method for attaching two electronics boards, e.g., a testing PCB and a space transformer, comprises rack welding resin prepreg and a mylar film to a testing PCB; laser drilling via holes in the resin prepreg and mylar film such that the holes are aligned on one side of the resin prepreg with connection/capture pads on the testing PCB and aligned (after attachment) on the other side of the resin prepreg with connection capture pads on a space transformer, filling the via holes with sintering paste; applying a pressure treatment to remove air, bubbles, and voids from the sintering paste; removing the mylar film; and using a lamination press cycle to attach a space transformer to the resin prepreg.

The interconnected structure is formed by a firing operation. A first conductor substructure is formed in a first interconnected structure subassembly which comprises at least one of the ceramic layers, and a second conductor substructure is formed in a second interconnected structure subassembly which is directly adjacent to the first interconnected structure subassembly and comprises at least one of the ceramic layers. The second conductor substructure substantially consists of high-current conductor tracks and is configured to contact a power circuit. The first conductor substructure substantially consists of signal conductor tracks and is configured to contact a drive circuit for the power circuit.

A multilayer board includes thermoplastic resin layers laminated together, a first-class conductor pattern including a conductor foil on a first surface of one of the thermoplastic resin layers, a second-class conductor pattern in contact with a second surface of the one of the thermoplastic resin layers, and an interlayer connection conductor in the one of the thermoplastic resin layers and including a first end surface connected to the first-class conductor pattern and a second end surface connected to a second-class conductor pattern. The second-class conductor pattern and the first interlayer connection conductor include a conductor of a single material including a resin, or a conductor of a single material including a metal with a melting point lower than that of the conductor foil.

A PCB that constructs circuit traces, vias, and connection pads by filling recessed areas, grooves, holes, and/or counter bores with conductive material. The recessed areas are filled with conductive ink or plating solutions by a number of methods. Capillary action aids in the filling of the recessed areas. Pressure, vacuum and or gravity can aid the filling. Layers of the PCB or similar type devices can be bonded together both mechanically and electrically to accomplish 3D connections of circuits. Ground and power plane durability and conductivity is enhanced by the inclusion of small grooves over the conductive plane.

The first portion or the second portion can have vias defining an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield. The apparatus can include a power filter and a data filter that can, respectively, isolate power and data of the first portion from the second portion.

The present invention relates to a substrate unit and a substrate assembly, and a camera module using the same. The present invention may comprise: a first substrate part having rigidity; a second substrate part stacked on one surface of the first substrate part and having flexibility; a third substrate part extending outwardly from the second substrate part and having flexibility; and a reinforcing part which is disposed at a portion where the edge portions of the first substrate part and the third substrate part meet, the reinforcing part having a recessed portion which is formed by recessing the first substrate part inwardly so as to inhibit interference between the first substrate part and the third substrate part. The present invention is capable of resolving the interference between a rigid PCB and a flexible PCB and the tearing thereof by providing a reinforcing part in a connection portion of the rigid PCB and the flexible PCB.

Inductor and circuit structure and method of manufacturing the same

An inductor unit includes a conductive structure, a first magnetic element and an insulating layer. The conductive structure has a bottom conductive layer, a top conductive layer, and a first side conductive layer extending from the bottom conductive layer to the top conductive layer. The first magnetic element is disposed on the bottom conductive layer of the conductive structure. The insulating layer is disposed on the bottom conductive layer of the conductive structure, wherein the insulating layer covers and surrounds the first magnetic element. The circuit structure including the inductor unit and the methods for manufacturing the same are also provided.
