High order shaped curve region for an airfoil
A turbomachine blade with a localized dihedral feature has a high order polynomial shaped curve region.
IMPELLER FOR CENTRIFUGAL FANS
A multi-blade forward-curved impeller for a centrifugal fan is disclosed. The impeller may include a blade having a curved portion and an extended portion. The curved portion may have a leading edge and a trailing edge, and the extended portion may extend outward from the trailing edge of the curved portion.
Second stage turbine blade
A turbine blade having an airfoil profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y, and Z set forth in Table 1, where the X and Y values are in inches and the Z values are non-dimensional values from 0 to 1 and convertible to Z distances in inches by multiplying the Z values by the height of the airfoil in inches. The X and Y values are distances which, when connected by smooth continuing arcs, define airfoil profile sections at each distance Z. The profile sections at each distance Z are joined smoothly to one another to form an airfoil shape. The X, Y, and Z distances may be scaled as a function of the same constant number and the X, Y, and Z distances lie within an envelope of approximately +/0.032 inches in directions normal to the airfoil.

Centrifugal fan
Each of blades of a centrifugal fan includes a primary wing section that has a trailing edge which is parallel to a central axis of rotation, a leading edge end section which is parallel to the central axis of rotation, and a thickness gradually growing thinner toward the trailing edge and the leading edge end section; and an auxiliary wing section that extends from the leading edge end section of the primary wing section toward the interior of the centrifugal fan. The auxiliary wing section has a length from the leading edge end section of the primary wing section to the leading edge of the auxiliary wing section that is greater at a side of a support section than at an intake side when viewed in a direction of the central axis of rotation, and a constant thickness across the entire area of the auxiliary wing section.
