20170356564 · 2017-12-14 · ·

A valve assembly including a valve having an opening and closing mechanism for controlling the flow of a fluid through the valve controlled by an actuator and an actuator mounting bracket secured to the valve. The actuator mounting bracket includes upper and lower clamps securing the valve actuator to the valve regardless of the valve position.

Plug head assemblies

In accordance with various embodiments, a plug head assembly is provided comprising a ceramic plug head having a frustroconical geometry, wherein the ceramic plug head has a proximal terminus and a distal terminus, wherein the ceramic plug head has a first coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), a sleeve having a frustroconical geometry conforming to the ceramic plug head and a second CTE, wherein the second CTE is greater than the first CTE, a distal retainer having a frustroconical geometry conforming to the sleeve, the distal retainer having a first engagement portion for engaging the a proximal retainer, the proximal retainer having a second engagement portion for engaging the distal retainer, and a base that couples with the proximal retainer. In addition, thick banded plug heads are provided.

Systems and methods for a plug head assembly

A plug head assembly having a ceramic plug head having an annular retention groove, wherein the ceramic plug head has a proximal terminus and a distal terminus, a first clamp portion having a first annular retention protrusion conforming to the annular retention groove, a second clamp portion having a second annular retention protrusion conforming to the annular retention groove, and an annular retention sleeve conforming to the annular retention groove, the annular retention sleeve disposed between the annular retention groove and at least one of the first clamp portion and the second clamp portion.

Valve assembly

A valve assembly including a valve having an opening and closing mechanism for controlling the flow of a fluid through the valve controlled by an actuator and an actuator mounting bracket secured to the valve. The actuator mounting bracket includes upper and lower clamps securing the valve actuator to the valve regardless of the valve position.

Releasable valved coupler

A releasable valved coupler and a method of producing and using such a coupler including a coupler body having a first valve element and a coupler insert having a second valve element, wherein a first valve tip of the first valve element can engage a second valve tip of the second valve element upon insertion of the coupler insert inside of a tubular chamber of the coupler body, whereby the first valve element disengages a first valve seat and the second valve element disengages a second valve seat to open a flow path through the coupler. By moving the coupler body and the coupler insert in outward opposed axial directions, the first and second valve tips can disengage, correspondingly engaging the first valve element with the first valve seat and engaging the second valve element with the second valve seat to close the flow path through the coupler.

Fluid flow control devices and related systems and methods

Fluid flow control devices and related systems and methods may include a body or housing and a plug at least partially positioned in the body or housing to define a flow path. In a position of the plug, the plug and the body or housing may collectively define a fluid flow path.
