Pressure vacuum relief valve providing monitoring capabilities
A mounting assembly is provided for coupling a monitoring device to a valve assembly for relieving vacuum and over pressure conditions in a storage container. The valve assembly includes a body including a first port adapted to be in fluid communication with the storage container and a first valve seat disposed in the body, and a first control assembly including a first valve stem and a first closure element coupled to the first valve stem, the first closure member being movable relative to the first valve seat in response to changes in pressure in the container. The mounting assembly includes a mounting bracket adapted to be coupled to a portion of the body and a mounting tube configured to be slidably coupled to the mounting bracket. The mounting tube is adapted to receive the monitoring device, which is configured to obtain data indicative of the operation of the valve assembly.
Two-way pressure relief valve for blood reservoir
A pressure relief valve for a reservoir has a housing body forming first and second subchambers in fluid communication. A first opening in a bottom surface of the housing body forms a first valve seat. At least one second opening in the bottom surface forms a second valve seat along an outer perimeter. A diaphragm member is biased against the second valve seat and is configured to deflect off of the second valve seat under a negative pressure. A sealing ball is gravitationally biased against the first valve seat and raises off the first valve seat in response to a positive pressure. A cover sheet on an upper surface of the housing body partially encloses the chamber and traps the sealing ball in the first subchamber. The cover sheet includes an aperture aligned with the second subchamber providing an ambient pressure port coupled to ambient atmosphere.
Fluid expansion tank
An expansion tank includes a tank body mounted inside a housing forming a sump, and defining an internal expansion volume. A fluid inlet opening in the tank body is in communication with the sump and the expansion volume. A combination valve may be disposed on a lower end of the tank to control fluid flow between the sump and the expansion volume. The valve may be a combination duckbill valve and umbrella valve. Fluid enters the expansion volume through the umbrella valve when sump pressure exceeds expansion volume pressure by a first predetermined amount, and fluid exits the expansion volume through the duckbill valve to the sump when expansion volume pressure exceeds sump pressure by a second predetermined amount. The tank body may include a cover on which an inlet tube is formed.
TWO-WAY PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE FOR BLOOD RESERVOIR
A pressure relief valve for a reservoir has a housing body forming first and second subchambers in fluid communication. A first opening in a bottom surface of the housing body forms a first valve seat. At least one second opening in the bottom surface forms a second valve seat along an outer perimeter. A diaphragm member is biased against the second valve seat and is configured to deflect off of the second valve seat under a negative pressure. A sealing ball is gravitationally biased against the first valve seat and raises off the first valve seat in response to a positive pressure. A cover sheet on an upper surface of the housing body partially encloses the chamber and traps the sealing ball in the first subchamber. The cover sheet includes an aperture aligned with the second subchamber providing an ambient pressure port coupled to ambient atmosphere.
Fluid valve and opening motion promoting device
A fluid valve has a valve plug configured as follows. In order to control a flow rate of a fluid between a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber, the valve plug is provided so as to be openable and closable in accordance with a difference between forces generated by pressures in the pressure chambers and resilience of an elastic member. The fluid valve includes an opening motion promoting portion. The opening motion promoting portion promotes an increase in degree of opening of the valve plug after the valve plug has been opened.

Pressure relief valve
A pressure relief valve to balance the pressure between a cargo tank and the ambient atmosphere is described. The valve is so arranged that the velocity of the out flowing gas jet at no time is under a preset value when the valve is in open position. The valve comprises a valve body (2) designed to act against a valve seat (1) located in a structural outlet (5a) from the cargo tank, which valve body (2) is connected to a rod (7) extending into the structural outlet (5a) opening (5). The rod (7) is being supported and guided by a frame structure (6) extending into the structural outlet (5a) opening (5) and fixed to the structural outlet (5a).

Fluid expansion tank
An expansion tank includes a tank body mounted inside a housing forming a sump, where the tank body defines an internal expansion volume. A fluid inlet tube on the tank body has an upper end open to the sump and a lower end open to the internal expansion volume. A single 2-way check valve is located at the lower end of the tube, and fluid enters the expansion volume when the pressure in the sump exceeds the pressure in the expansion volume by a first predetermined amount, and fluid exits the expansion volume to the sump when the pressure in the expansion volume exceeds the pressure in the sump by a second predetermined amount. The check valve may be a combination duckbill valve and umbrella valve. The tank body may include a cover on which the inlet tube is formed.
