PREVENTING AN OVER PRESSURE CONDITION WITH A MECHANICAL SHUTDOWN VALVE
A mechanical shutdown valve for preventing an over pressure condition is described. A valve body has an inlet, an outlet, and a channel extending from the inlet to the outlet. A valve seat and a diaphragm are positioned in the valve body. The diaphragm controls a fluid flow through the valve body. A mesh is coupled to the diaphragm such that the mesh and the diaphragm separate an upstream portion of the channel from a downstream portion of the channel. The mesh extends from the diaphragm to an inner surface of the valve body and limits fluid flow between the diaphragm and the valve body. A spring biases the diaphragm towards the open position. A characteristic of the spring determines a differential pressure threshold between the upstream portion of the channel and a downstream portion of the channel at which the diaphragm engages the valve seat.

Check valve
A check valve may be used to enable desired flow rates of fluid in a particular direction. In some examples, the check valve may have a hollow cylindrical body and a threaded portion on an exterior wall of the hollow cylindrical body such that the check valve may be coupled with an assembly, such as an adapter for a vehicle engine. The check valve may include a plunger having a dome shaped portion (e.g., cone shaped, semi-hemispherical shaped, rounded cone shaped, etc.) that extends out of the hollow cylindrical body into free space when the check valve is in an open position and forms a seal with the hollow cylindrical body when the check valve is in a closed position.
Wheel Valve Assembly & The Tire Inflation System Made Therewith
A wheel valve assembly having a body portion coupled with a cover portion. A diaphragm disposed between the body portion and the cover portion. A first biasing member disposed between the cover portion and the diaphragm in a cover cavity defined thereby. A control cavity defined by the body portion and the diaphragm, and at least one control port defined by the body portion and in fluid communication with the control cavity. A tire port defined by the body portion and in selective fluid communication with the control cavity. A first and second conduit disposed in the body portion in fluid communication with a third and fourth conduit disposed in the cover portion. An equalization valve assembly disposed in one of the conduits to control fluid communication between the cover cavity and the control cavity.
Safety valve
A self-sealing safety valve (10) for a container of pressurised fluid (12) comprises a substantially solid body (14) and attachment means (24) for connecting to a dispensing valve. The self-sealing safety valve includes a substantially central bore (16) extending through both the attachment means and the solid body, and the bore connects an inlet (20) to an outlet (18). The bore comprises at least three parts each of a different diameter: a first part (16a) immediately adjacent the outlet has a first diameter; a second part (16b) located immediately adjacent the first part has a second diameter that is wider diameter than the first diameter; and a third (16c) part located immediately adjacent the second part has a third diameter that is wider than the second diameter. The second part of the bore houses a first biasing means (30). The third part of the bore houses a sealing ball (28) and a second biasing means (38), and the sealing ball is located between the first and second biasing means. The diameter of the sealing ball is greater than the first diameter but smaller than the second diameter and is capable of sealing the second part of the bore. Under normal flow conditions of fluid through the bore, the first biasing means is configured to bias the sealing ball away from the second part of the bore. Under conditions of high pressure fluid flow through the bore, the sealing ball is forced towards a junction (21) between the second and third parts of the bore, against the first biasing means, sealing the outlet.
Fluid valve, in particular a return valve for a painting system
Exemplary illustrations of a fluid valve, e.g., a return valve for returning residual paint, rinsing agent, and compressed air from a paint line when changing color in a painting system, are disclosed. An exemplary fluid valve may be adjusted between an open position, in which the fluid valve is at least partially open, e.g., for rinsing a paint line with a rinsing agent and for pressurizing the paint line with a new color for the color change, and a closed position, in which the fluid valve is closed, e.g., for applying the new color after the color change. An exemplary fluid valve may switch to the closed position, upon actuation by the medium thereof, e.g., medium flowing through or present in the valve. In another example, a fluid valve may close depending on the fluid present at the input side.

Fluid control valve with mechanical switch
A fluid control valve with mechanical switch is a tube body having a seat portion in the through hole. A rod body passes through the bore of the seat portion, with two ends of the rod body provided with a block member and a valve plate, respectively. The rod body has an elastic member between the seat portion and the block portion, and another elastic member between the seat portion and the valve plate. The rod body further includes an adjustment member for adjusting the compression level of at least one elastic member, so as to adjust the prestress difference between the two elastic members, thereby adjusting the valve plate to normally open or close according to the movement of the rod body.
