Backflow prevention and method of manufacture
A backflow prevention assembly is disclosed including a backflow prevention valve having a valve housing including a valve inlet end and a valve outlet end; a spool spacer of predetermined length having a first end and a second end; an inlet shut-off valve; and an outlet shut-off valve, wherein the spool spacer extends between the backflow prevention valve and one of the inlet shut-off valve and the outlet shut-off valve. The entire assembly, including the backflow prevention valve, the spool spacer, the inlet shut-off valve, and the outlet shut-off valve, is a certified assembly, certified by a certifying authority prior to installation. Methods of manufacturing a backflow prevention assembly and replacing a backflow prevention assembly are also disclosed.
TWO-WAY VALVE WITH RAPID DECOMPRESSION FLOW DYNAMICS
Two-way pressure relief valves featuring dual poppets and magnets that allow very rapid flow. Such flow is accomplished by a valve housing enclosing a hollow interior portion containing a stationary member including a magnet and a first pressure-movable poppet disposed in sealing arrangement with the housing and including a second magnet. To provide flow in the other direction, a second moveable poppet disposed coaxially and in sealing arrangement with the first poppet and is coupled to a spring that extends from a first end of the second poppet to a support structure coupled to the second magnet.

Check valve for well stimulation
Disclosed are check valve assemblies operable to inject treatment fluids during stimulation operations. One check valve assembly includes a valve body defining an inlet, one or more discharge ports, and a cylindrical passageway that fluidly communicates the inlet with the one or more discharge ports, the valve body further providing a cylindrical section in which the one or more discharge ports are defined, a valve cap disposed about an exterior of the cylindrical section and defining an opening that fluidly communicates with the cylindrical passageway, and a spherical piston disposed within the passageway and movable between a closed configuration, where the spherical piston prevents fluid communication between the inlet and the one or more discharge ports, and an open configuration, where fluid communication is allowed between the inlet and the one or more discharge ports.
Method and apparatus for beverage extraction with improved gas cylinder access
Devices and methods for extracting a beverage from a container, such as a wine bottle. Beverage can be extracted from a container by inserting a needle through a container closure, such as a cork, delivering pressurized gas into the container via the needle, and dispensing beverage from the container via the needle. A pressure regulator may control a pressure of gas introduced into the container, and a lance used to pierce a pressurized gas cylinder may include a leading face arranged to reliably pierce a cylinder closure. The regulator may include valve features to reduce valve chatter or hammering and provide a more reliable pressure seal.
Compressor system with pressure pulsation dampener and check valve
A system is disclosed wherein a pressure pulse dampener is in fluid communication with a compressed fluid. The pulse dampener being operable for reducing pressure pulsations within the fluid. In some embodiments a check valve can be in fluid communication with the pulse dampener to prevent reverse flow of the compressed fluid.
Two educator/four-way selector valve assembly
A method of controlling the flow of different flow paths of fluid is provided. The method includes rotating a valve to a first position, receiving a first concentrate in the first position, discharging the first concentrate through one of two outlets, rotating the valve to a second position, receiving a second concentrate in the second position, and discharging the second concentrate through one of the two outlets.
VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR A TANK OF A VEHICLE AND A METHOD OF CREATING A VACUUM IN THE TANK
A valve assembly includes a seat separating a cavity of a valve body into a first cavity portion and a second cavity portion. The assembly includes a cover device separating the first cavity portion into a first pocket and a second pocket. The cover device defines at least one hole to provide fluid communication between an aperture of the seat and an outlet of the valve body via the hole. The cover device is movable between a rest position to restrict fluid communication between the aperture and the hole, and an actuated position to increase fluid communication between the aperture and the hole when a vacuum is created in the first cavity portion. The aperture is in direct fluid communication with the first pocket when in the actuated position. The outlet is in direct fluid communication with the second pocket when in the rest and actuated positions.
Valve seat insert system and method
A valve assembly for a fracturing pump includes a valve seat having a bore, the valve seat having an upper region forming at least a portion of a strike face. The valve assembly also includes a groove and a valve seat insert positioned within the bore. The valve seat insert includes a body portion extending at least a portion of a bore length. The valve seat insert also includes an insert bore extending through the body portion. The valve seat insert further includes an upper insert region, at least a portion of the upper insert region positioned within the groove. The valve assembly also includes a valve member positioned to reciprocate within the bore, the valve member moving between an open position and a closed position.
Spring controlling valve
A valve member for a spring-loaded valve assembly includes a top portion having a spring retaining recess, the spring retaining recess extending into the top portion to form a void space, the void space to receive at least one coil of a spring, the spring retaining recess having a recess diameter that is smaller than a top portion diameter, wherein the recess diameter is larger than a rest diameter of a spring base including the coil, the spring retaining recess blocking expansion of the at least one coil when the spring is compressed. The valve member also includes a bottom portion coupled to the top portion. The valve member further includes a sealing element positioned axially below a shoulder of the top portion and legs coupled to the bottom portion.
