COAXIAL FLUID CONNECTOR
A fluid connector for removably joining two lines includes a male element and a complementary female element, which each include a body defining an inner passage and an outer passage, a male drawer, which is axially movable inside the outer passage between an uncoupled position of the connector, where it tightly closes off a distal mouth of the outer passage, and a coupled position, where it does not oppose the passage of fluid in the mouth and wherein the male or female body delimits a connecting passage between the outer passage of the female element and the outer passage of the male element during the coupling of the elements and which connecting passage extends between at least one distal opening and at least one proximal opening, which each emerge in one or the other of the outer passages.
Transmission anti-leak valve
A valve is mounted in a first bore in a first separable section of a transmission to block or allow fluid flow through the first bore to a second bore in a second transmission section depending on whether the first and second sections are joined together or separated. A movable portion of the valve is responsive to an actuator during relative movement of the transmission sections to shift between fluid flow open and fluid flow closed positions. The valve can include a valve housing fixed in the first bore and a carrying plunger biased to the fluid blocking position and responsive to the actuator for movement to the fluid flow open position. The valve forms a fluid flow path between the first and second bores across the gap between the facing surfaces of the joined transmission sections.
Aseptic connector with deflectable ring of concern and method
An aseptic fluid connector having a first connector including a first fluid passageway for receiving a fluid therein; a first port in fluid communication with the first fluid passageway for passage of the fluid therethrough; and a first deflecting member. The first deflecting member includes a first engaging portion radially spaced relative to the first port, and a first valve movable between a closed position and an open position with movement of the first engaging portion between a non-deflected position and a deflected position, respectively. In the non-deflected position, the first valve is located in the closed position forming a fluid-tight seal between the first valve and first port and preventing the passage of fluid therethrough, and in the deflected position, the first valve is located in the open position allowing the aseptic passage of fluid through the first port.
Quick coupling for connecting during fluid flow in a hydraulic circuit
A coaxial coupling 10 includes a female coupling half 50 and a male coupling half 130. The coupling 10 is used in a hydraulic circuit 100 that includes a multistage hydraulic pump 101 and a hydraulic machine 102. The coupling is used in the circuit 100 to connect components when the pump is running. The coupling halves have a disconnected configuration (FIG. 1), a connection initiation configuration (FIG. 2), and a fully connected configuration (FIG. 3). Coupling half 50 includes a manually actuated restrictor 1 that signals the pump 101 to move to a low flow condition independently of load demand from the machine 102 in the connection initiation configuration. This reduces the forces required to move the coupling halves from the connection initiation configuration to the fully connected configuration.
PIPE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND TIRE MAINTENANCE APPARATUS HAVING SAME
The present invention relates to a pipe connector assembly and a tire maintenance apparatus having the same. The pipe connector assembly comprises a leak-proof valve, and the leak-proof valve is opened only after a sealed fluid medium path is formed between the pipe connector assembly and the tire valve when the pipe connector assembly is screwed to the tire valve. The present invention advantageously prevents fluid medium leakage at the connection between the pipe connector assembly and the tire valve.
Quick coupling with volume displacement passage
A quick coupling assembly includes a first coupling element (10) and a second coupling element (50) that is inserted into the first coupling element. The first coupling element has a coupling body (12) and a valve (20), which define a volume displacement passage. When the second coupling element (50) is inserted, the second coupling element mechanically acts on the valve (20) to expel contaminants from the quick coupling assembly via the volume displacement passage. The valve includes a poppet (22) and a biasing spring (24), and the volume displacement passage includes a leak path (66) defined between the coupling body and the poppet. The poppet has an inward contour (68) that is spaced apart from the coupling body to define the leak path. The poppet has a widened portion (70) that provides a sealing surface when the assembly is fully coupled. The second coupling element (50) mechanically acts on the poppet (22) during insertion to expel the contaminants via the volume displacement passage.
Low-Spill Coupling Assembly
The present disclosure relates to a low-spill coupling assembly including a female coupling device and a male coupling device.
Low-spill coupling assembly
A coupling system includes a female coupling device, the female coupling device including a first main body with a first front face, the first front face defining a first opening leading into a first fluid passageway; a stem having a stem head positioned within a sleeve; a first spring positioned about the stem that biases the sleeve into a closed position; a first seal that seals between the main body and the sleeve; a second seal that seals between the sleeve and the stem head; and a third seal that is positioned at the opening of the main body. The coupling system includes a male coupling device, the male coupling device including a second main body with a second front face, the second front face defining a second opening leading into a second fluid passageway; a valve member and a second spring positioned within the second fluid passageway; and a major seal that seals between the second main body and the valve member. The second main body of the male coupling device is capable of being inserted into the first opening of the first main body of the female coupling device so that the first seal and the third seal of the female coupling device engage the second main body of the male coupling device. The sleeve and the valve member are displaced against the first and second springs such that the second seal and the major seal are disengaged so that fluid flows through the first and second fluid passageways.
