In one embodiment, an ornamental component is provided for use with jewelry (a bracelet or necklace). The ornamental component has a through hole allowing the ornamental component to be strung on an elongated member of the jewelry. The ornamental component includes a self-supporting housing and an insert assembly. The housing has a through hole with first and second openings at first and second sides, respectively, of the housing. The insert assembly is inserted in the through hole of the housing, and the insert assembly is assembled from a first tubular element and a gripping element. The first tubular element has a through hole that forms at least a part of the ornamental component through hole. The gripping element is configured to frictionally grip a part of the jewelry item. The first tubular element is configured to secure the gripping element inside the through hole of the ornamental component.

A device comprising: (a) a body portion including: (i) a first end and ii. a second end; (b) a holder at the first end; (c) a holder at the second end; (d) a rotation device at the first end in communication with the holder at the first end; and wherein the holder is fixedly attached to a split gear having a channel therethrough so that one or more flexible mediums may be placed through the channel and removed from a work area located between the holder at the first end and the holder at the second end.

A process for making a jewelry article, which envisages to carry out several ornamental wires, each made of an internal core covered with an external strip in a precious material. The ornamental wires are then wound around the elongated support to form a cord of ornamental wires. Then the elongated support is removed from the cord, and the internal core of each ornamental wire is removed from the corresponding external strip, in order to obtain a lightened jewelry article.

Mourning and memorial jewelry items and methods for manufacturing the same are described. The methods utilize metal implant materials from deceased individuals to create items of jewelry for retention and use by survivors. The overall method includes a planning process that discerns the type of metal implants available and identifies the type of jewelry desired. The planning process establishes a preferred method for manufacture, based on the size and shape of the available implant objects, as well as the desired item of jewelry. The jewelry items are either unitary pieces of jewelry or jewelry stones. The preferred method for transforming the implant object into the item of jewelry will involve machining, annealing or forging, and/or melting and casting. The preferred method is implemented and results in either the finished item of jewelry or a metallic stone that may be set into a jewelry setting.

Provided is a negative ion emitting product and a method of forming the same. The negative ion emitting product comprises a silicone substrate and a separate silicone insert or patch material containing a negative ion emitting source. The separate silicone insert or patch material is attached to a surface of said substrate or inserted into a space defined by a wall of said substrate. The product is designed to be worn by a human or animal and preferably comprises a bracelet, necklace, collar, watch strap, shoe insole or the like. It particularly comprises a double molded silicone product containing in the patch or insert material, but not the substrate, nano-particles of negative ion radiating rare earth powder.

A process for making a jewelry article, in particular a bracelet, which first includes a step of arranging an elongated support (6). A step of forming an ornamental wire (5) comprising an internal core (3) made of a non-precious material and an external strip wound in a precious material is then carried out. Such an ornamental wire is then wound around the elongated support (6) to form a cord of ornamental wires made of a precious material. Such a cord is then emptied of the internal cores of the ornamental wires and of the elongated support following a first and a second removal step. It is then cut in several points to form sections which will become the finished product.
