Pipe processing tool with pipe deformation members
A pipe processing tool that is configured to deform the end of a pipe so that the circumferential shape of the end of the pipe generally matches the circumferential shape of an adjacent pipe end. Matching the circumferential shapes of the pipe ends is advantageous during a pipe attachment process. The pipe processing tool can include a deformation ring with a plurality of pipe deformation members. Each pipe deformation member faces radially inward and is actuatable in a radial direction toward and away from the center of the deformation ring in order to permit engagement with the pipe. Each pipe deformation member is individually and separately actuatable from the other pipe deformation members so that the circumferential shapes of the pipes can be altered by controlling suitable ones of the pipe deformation members.
Computer and high-density server accommodating multiple modules
A computer, serving as a high-density server, includes a substrate, a plurality of connectors each including a plurality of electrodes, and a plurality of modules detachably attached to the substrate via connectors. The modules are attached to the connectors via different combinations of electrodes such that a first module (e.g. a CPU) is attached to one connector via a first combination of electrodes while a second module (e.g. a storage module or an attachment module) is attached to another connector via a second combination of electrodes. The connectors are aligned in a first direction on the substrate or in an array defined by first and second directions perpendicular to each other, wherein the connectors are selectively and electrically connected together with electrodes.
FASTENABLE MEMBER FOR SEALING, BAFFLING OR REINFORCING AND METHOD OF FORMING SAME
There is disclosed a member for sealing, baffling and/or reinforcing components of an automotive vehicle. The assembly generally includes a carrier, an expandable material and at least one fastener.
Stents with attached looped ends
An open frame prosthesis is formed with looped end terminations at its proximal and distal ends. At one end of the prosthesis, the filaments or strands are welded together in pairs to form strand couplings. A plurality of loop segments are connected to the strand couplings, one loop segment for each pair of adjacent strand couplings. In one version of the prosthesis, strands at the opposite end are bent to form looped ends. In another version, loop segments are connected to pairs of strand couplings at both ends of the prosthesis. The loop segments can be connected to the couplings by welding, fusion bonds, or tubes, which are either crimped or heat shrunk.
Efficient assembly of triple pane windows
This invention describes an apparatus for assembling triple pane insulating glass units from a plurality of insulating spacer frames having sealant or adhesive applied to opposite sides of said spacer frames.
GOLF CLUB WEIGHT ATTACHMENT MECHANISMS AND RELATED METHODS
Embodiments of a golf club head comprising a weight system are described herein. In some embodiments, the golf club head comprises a head body with a multi-density weight in combination with a removable weight. The multi-density weight and the removable weight act in tandem for preferred swingweighting. Other examples and related methods are also described herein.
Golf club weight attachment mechanisms and related methods
Embodiments of golf club weight attachment mechanisms are described herein. In some embodiments, a golf club head comprises a head body with an interior cavity, a shell portion, and a bracket with a weight member coupled to the bracket. In one embodiment, the bracket and the weight member can be configured to be fully contained within the interior cavity. Other examples and related methods are also described herein.
Device and method for producing a component
A device and method for producing a component are provided. The device or method includes steps or units for providing a first component element having a recess in or on a first surface of the first component element, and for positioning a second component element in the region of the recess. The device or method also includes a step or unit for pressing the first component element and the second component element together, and as a result forming a material fit, positive fit and/or non-positive fit between the first and the second component elements at least in the region of the recess. The positioning and the pressing can be carried out or are carried out functionally, in particular, spatially and/or temporally, in terms of equipment, separately from each other.
Method of joining two components, auxiliary joining part and components assembly
A method of connecting a first component and a second component with the aid of an auxiliary joining part, wherein the auxiliary joining part is formed from a pin and a plate. A position of intended fracture is present between the plate and the pin. The first component, the second component and the auxiliary joining part are brought into a stacked arrangement such that the plate contacts the first component and the pin projects away from the side of the plate remote from the first component. A force is exerted on the pin of the auxiliary joining part in the direction towards the stacked components which leads to a fracture at a position of intended fracture and the pin is used in order to pierce slugs from the stacked components. The end of the pin which is pressed through the second component, and/or a washer which is optionally provided there, is deformed in order to provide a form-locked connection to the second component or to a washer which is provided there. Furthermore, an auxiliary joining part is claimed.
