Ball joint holder with limiting element
A ball joint holder with limiting element includes a lower base, an upper base covered to the lower base, a ball shaft and a limiting element. The ball shaft has a rotation rod, and a ball body located around a lower end of the rotation rod. A lower end of the rotation rod protrudes outward to form a limiting block. Two opposite ends of the limiting element are pivotally connected with the lower base and the upper base. The limiting element opens a limiting groove. One of inner surfaces of a front wall and a rear wall of the limiting groove is defined as a limiting surface. The lower end of the rotation rod and the limiting block are received in the limiting groove. The limiting block is capable of abutting against the limiting surface.
Free slant platform
A free slant platform includes a ball structure with a rotator structure including a stopping hole formed on a side thereof, a loading plate located above the ball structure and fixedly connected with the ball structure, a supporting member connected with an outer wall of the ball structure and configured to support the ball structure, a stop member movably connected with the supporting member and linearly moved along an axis direction of the ball structure to clamp with the stopping hole for braking the ball structure. When the stop member presses on the ball structure, the stop member is clamped with the stopping hole to limit rotation of the ball structure; when the stop member is separated from the ball structure, the ball structure is restored to a free rotation state. The ball structure is taken as a supporting point to incline the loading plate along a plurality of directions.
BALL JOINT HOLDER WITH LIMITING ELEMENT

One of inner surfaces of a front wall and a rear wall of the limiting groove is defined as a limiting surface. The lower end of the rotation rod and the limiting block are received in the limiting groove. The limiting block is capable of abutting against the limiting surface.
Coupling consisting of coupling bolt and holder as well as method for connecting a first and a second component by means of the coupling
Coupling by means of which a first and a second component are connectable to each other, having the following features: a coupling bolt having a fastening end, a holding head and a supporting section arranged therebetween, in which the holding head and the supporting section are connected to each other by means of a web, which is tapered with respect to the holding head, and the fastening end is fastenable at the first component, a holder having a keyhole and an abutting portion, in which an edge of the keyhole encloses a non-planar surface, the coupling bolt is lockable in the keyhole in a form-fit manner by means of an inserting-pivoting-movement and the holder is fastenable at the second component by means of a fastening structure.
Bolted-ball ball-and-socket pivoting joint assembly
A pivoting joint assembly includes a base, a plate, and at least one bolt. The base has one or more semi-spherical sockets with each socket having a centrally-positioned hole extending through the base. The plate has one or more semi-spherical sockets recessed within the plate with aligned semi-spherical protrusions extending from the plate. The plate has a hole extending through a central portion of each of the plate's sockets and a corresponding protrusion aligned therewith. Each protrusion is partially fitted in a corresponding socket in the base. Each bolt has a head and a post extending from the head. The head includes a semi-spherical portion adjacent to the post. The post extends through aligned holes in the plate and base. The post is coupled to the base such that the semi-spherical portion of bolt's head nests within one of the plate's sockets.
Method and apparatus for mounting a light bar on the roof of a vehicle
A universal mounting for a light bar which is adjustable in a vertical direction as well as pivotable and tiltable along pitch and roll axes, respectively, longitudinal and lateral of the vehicle to enable leveling of the light bar on the roof while attaching the light bar to the vehicle. There are two mountings which are attached to the light bar under opposite ends thereof. Each mounting has a fixed bracket attached to the roof and an adjustable bracket clamped to the fixed bracket with a mounting bolt threadedly engaged in a pivot connection in the adjustable bracket to enable adjustment about the pivot axis. The pivot connection may also be movable vertically (up or down) with respect to the roof. Vertical and pivotal adjustability facilitates alignment of the bolt in a threaded fastener in the pivot connection. The adjustable bracket has upper and lower parts. The upper part is connected to the light bar and is tiltable with respect to the lower part about the roll axis. The adjustability provided about the pivot and roll axes as well as the vertical adjustability compensate for various roof curvatures and like brackets may be used in each mounting to attach the light bar to the roofs of various types of vehicles.
