A device for fitting two components together by a clevis is improved by a seal including a deformable ring subjected to axial compression between one of the cheeks and a mobile washer which is brought closer to the cheek when a bolt passing through the clevis is tightened. This axial compression causes the rod to be clamped by the seal, eliminating all play and giving the assembly good cohesion while at the same time eliminating the transmission of vibration and noise.

A shear pin connection for use in a difficult to access location has a bolt head to be positioned at an inner end of a bearing. A bushing is received between the bolt and an inner periphery of the bearing. A lock member is positioned between an inner end of the bushing and the bolt head. The lock member is radially expandable, and has a free radially outer dimension that is smaller than an inner dimension of the inner bore. The lock member is expandable to have an expanded radially outer dimension that is greater than the inner dimension of the inner bore. A nut is tightened on the outer end of the bolt. The nut causes the bushing to move relative to the bolt, and causes the lock member to expand radially. A shackle connection for a gas turbine engine and an aircraft are also disclosed.

A bearing joint assembly may include a bearing sleeve, a first collar, a first mount, a pair of second mounts and a fastener, which projects through the bearing sleeve and secures the bearing sleeve to the second mounts. The bearing sleeve extends axially along a centerline and includes a spherical bearing. The first collar is configured with the bearing sleeve. A first annular channel is formed by and extends axially between the spherical bearing and the first collar. The first mount is mounted on and slidably engages the spherical bearing. The spherical bearing and the first collar are axially between the second mounts.

An assembly including a link axis supported by first and second guiding rings positioned in first and second branches of a clevis, one of the guiding rings including a tubular extension, protruding with respect to an outer face of one of the branches, which has a threaded portion on its outer circumferential face. Complementing this, the assembly includes a nut configured to be screwed onto the threaded portion of the tubular extension and an immobilization system configured to immobilize the nut in translation and/or in rotation, the nut and the link axis being linked by a complete link that is non-removable or that forms a single-piece part. This solution makes it possible to reduce the number of parts forming the assembly. Also provided are an engine attachment and an aircraft including such an assembly.

A mounting fixture for positioning a workpiece in a desired relationship with an apparatus including an articulation joint for coupling first and second tubular members in a desired angular relationship. The articulation joint includes a first end portion clamped to an interior surface of the first tubular member and a second end portion clamped to an interior surface of the second tubular member. First and second clamping members of the articulation joint are clamped together to prevent pivotable movement between a first articulation member and a second articulation member of the articulation joint.

A pin joint assembly is disclosed having a first lug and a second lug, a pin extending through the first and second lugs, a U-shaped bushing between the first lug and the pin, wherein the U-shaped bushing includes a first end flange and a second end flange that extend radially outwards and retain the U-shaped bushing to the first lug, and wherein the U-shaped bushing includes a bearing surface between the first and second end flanges on which the first lug is slidable.

An expansion sleeve for a connection device, the sleeve arranged on an axle of the connection device to secure the axle in a hole, the sleeve comprising: a first section with a first outer diameter; and a second section with a second outer diameter, the first section has a conical shape with a tapering inner wall configured to abut a tapered section of the axle, and an outer wall configured to abut an inner wall of the hole, the second section to axially abut a fastening device arranged at an end of the axle, the second outer diameter of the second section is smaller than the first outer diameter of the first section, and the second section comprises an inner wall extending with an angle relative the axial direction of the sleeve which is smaller than the angle of the tapering inner wall of the first section.
