Connecting device and pipe press-fit connecting apparatus using the same
A pipe press-fit connecting apparatus includes a connecting device. The connecting device may be used to connect a connected unit to a pressing power providing unit. The connecting device includes a fastener and a coupling pin. The fastener is installed at one end of the installation hole on an exterior surface of a cylinder block and has a fastening pin configured to be resiliently arranged and at least partially be exposed to the installation hole. The coupling pin is inserted through the installation hole and the insertion hole through another end of the installation hole on the exterior surface of the cylinder block to be resiliently coupled to the fastening pin to couple the connected unit to the pressing power providing unit.
Locking pin with protected locking mechanism
A locking pin with a locking mechanism (8, 27, 28) that has a guide sleeve (3) that can be attached to a machine part, and a pin (2) connected to an actuator button (6), which passes through a central bore (14) in the actuator button (6), and which can be axially displaced and secured in a hole in the guide sleeve (3) counter to and by means of the force of a compression spring (7) by actuating the actuator button (6), wherein the pin (2) can be brought into at least two locking positions in the guide sleeve (3) by means of the locking mechanism (8, 27, 28) located in the central bore (17), wherein the locking mechanism (8, 27, 28) is sealed in the central bore (14) of the actuator button (6) in the region of a second guide sleeve (12) that is coaxial to the first guide sleeve (3) and connected thereto, and is composed of a locking sleeve (8) secured to the actuator button (6), the sleeve extension (15) of which forms a locking contour (28) in conjunction with a locking recess (27) located in the region of the second guide sleeve (12).
Connectors with a pin, a housing, and one or more springs
The present application relates to connectors that use canted coil springs to retain a pin to a housing. The connectors have increased disconnect to connect force ratios. Dual concentric spring configuration allows for an initial locking configuration that can be overcome with higher force and deflection of the second spring. Dual springs in series in a constrained groove can require a high force for connector disconnect, since force vectors may be in a direction relatively close to being along the spring major axis. A curved groove wall can offer resistance to a spring that is required to slide first into the groove in order to allow disconnect.
Quick disconnect securement device
A quick disconnect device for detachably holding a long gun or other elongated emergency tool (EET). The quick disconnect device receives and captures the ball of a ball-and-stem structure that is attached to the EET. The quick disconnect device may allow the EET to rotate about the central axis of the stem, but otherwise prevents relative translational and rotational motion between the EET and the quick disconnect device. The quick disconnect device is especially suitable for mounting to clothing, such as a utility belt or a ballistic vest. the quick disconnect device allows the EET to be inserted without requiring the user to directly manipulate the quick connection device, but requires the user to manipulate some sort of mechanism on the quick connect device in order to release the EET.
FIXING FRAME
A fixing frame includes a base body and a turntable mechanism. The base body includes an annular wall, an accommodation structure and a push button. The accommodation structure has a first opening, a second opening and a third opening. The push button includes a pin, a pressing post, a positioning post, a retaining plate and a spring. The pin is penetrated through the first opening. The pressing post is penetrated through the second opening. The positioning post is penetrated through the third opening. The turntable mechanism includes plural fourth openings. When the pressing post is not depressed, the pin is inserted into one of the plural fourth opening, so that the turntable mechanism is fixed on the base body. After the pressing post is depressed and the pin is detached from the fourth opening, the turntable mechanism is rotatable relative to the base body.
UNIVERSAL COUPLING FOR HOLLOW CARBON FIBER COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
A system and process for removably and replaceably coupling two hollow carbon fiber composite structures without the need for adhesives or welding. A universal coupling makes use of reciprocating catches in the end regions of the universal coupling. The reciprocating catches engage receiving features provided in the hollow carbon fiber composite structures to couple the hollow carbon fiber composite structures to the universal coupling, and through the universal coupling, couple the hollow carbon fiber composite structures together. The hollow carbon fiber composite structures can be uncoupled by disengaging the reciprocating catches of the universal coupling from the receiving features of the hollow carbon fiber composite structures.
Constant-velocity universal joint
A constant velocity universal joint includes an outer joint member and an inner joint member between which torque is transferred through intermediation of balls while allowing angular displacement. A power transmission shaft is coupled to the inner joint member to allow torque transmission therebetween. A mounting and dismounting mechanism configured to mount and dismount the power transmission shaft to and from the inner joint member is provided between the inner joint member and the power transmission shaft. The mounting and dismounting mechanism includes a tubular member, a snap ring mounted inside the tubular member, a pushing member arranged on a radially outer side of the snap ring to be movable in a radial direction, and an annular member arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the tubular member to be movable in an axial direction.
CONNECTOR HOUSINGS, USE OF, AND METHOD THEREFOR
A method of making a connector assembly includes attaching two stamped housing sections together to form a connector housing having a housing groove with a groove bottom and two side walls and providing the connector housings with a spring used as a mechanical connector and/or as an electrical connector for numerous applications and across numerous industries. The groove geometries can easily be altered using different stamping dies.

POWER TRANSMITTING SHAFT
A propeller shaft (1), as a power transmitting shaft, of the present invention is configured such that a snap ring (8) as a retaining ring can be inserted inwards into a first penetration slot (31) formed at a tubular portion body (33) of a tubular portion (30) from a radial direction outer side. With this, good workability of assembly of the snap ring (8) is secured. Further, an engagement-stop state of a second shaft (3) by the snap ring (8) can be visually checked from the outside through the first penetration slot (31), then check of an engagement state by the snap ring (8) can be made.
