Tool holder with built-in cavities
A tool holder having a main body for coupling the tool holder to the spindle of a machine tool and having a clamping surface connected thereto for clamping a tool, characterized in that the tool holder has at least one portion shaped in one piece by primary shaping, which in its interior has one or more cavities that form an enclave in the portion shaped by primary shaping.
Machining tool and cutting head for the machining tool
A machining tool includes a holder and a cutting head which can be screwed into the holder. The cutting head includes a cutting-edge region and a coupling region. The coupling region includes a flat contact area facing the holder, a cylindrical thread carrier with an external thread adjoining the flat contact area, and a clamping cone adjoining the thread carrier. The holder includes a planar counter-contact area disposed adjacent the flat contact area of the coupling region, a cylindrical internal thread adjoining the planar counter-contact area, and a hollow-conical cone contact area next to the internal thread.
Cutting insert, cutting tool, and method of manufacturing machined product using the same
A cutting insert of an embodiment of the present invention includes an upper surface, a lower surface, a side surface connected to each of the upper surface and the lower surface, and an upper cutting edge located at an intersection of the upper surface and the side surface. The lower surface includes a mount part having alternately three first top portions spaced a distance a away from a central axis extending between the upper and lower surfaces and three second top portions spaced a distance b away from the central axis in a bottom view. The mount part further has a concave part including at least the central axis. The second top portions are located closer to the upper surface than the first top portions. A cutting tool with the cutting insert, and a method of manufacturing a machined product by using the cutting tool are also provided.
Corner radius end mill
A corner radius end mill includes a blended gash extending along a cutting edge. The blended gash is formed in a corner sector of the end mill. The corner sector has a first half-sector and a second half-sector defined on opposite sides of an imaginary bisection line of the corner sector, the first and second half-sectors subtending equal angles about the imaginary bisection line. The blended gash extends from a first extremity and blends an end gash surface and flute rake surface of the corner radius end mill. The blended gash is spaced from a radial tangent point by a predetermined distance, and extends to a second extremity which is spaced apart from the axial line and the second half-sector.
TOOL HOLDER WITH BUILT-IN CAVITIES
A tool holder having a main body for coupling the tool holder to the spindle of a machine tool and having a damping surface connected thereto for clamping a tool, characterized in that the tool holder has at least one portion shaped in one piece by primary shaping, which in its interior has one or more cavities that form an enclave in the portion shaped by primary shaping.

Method of manufacturing a face plate for a golf club head
Golf club heads with patterned face plates described herein. Other examples, embodiments and related methods are also disclosed herein.
Method and device for machining longitudinal edges of metal workpieces
A method for machining long edges of metal workpieces (2), wherein during the machining of the workpiece (2), all the cutting edges (z) are put into engagement with the machining surface (B) over an effective length (l) and having a cutting depth (t), and the removal of the chips is effected in each case over a length which is equivalent to the tooth spacing (a.sub.s) between the adjacent teeth simultaneously with their motion along the effective length (l).
Rotary cutting tool
A rotary cutting tool or end mill is provided, the tool comprising a plurality of pairs of diametrically-opposed, symmetrical, helical flutes formed in a cutting portion of the tool body, wherein the pitch between at least one pair of adjacent helical flutes is less than or greater than the pitch of at least one other pair of adjacent helical flutes in at least one radial plane along the axial length of the flutes, a plurality of peripheral cutting edges, wherein at least one of the peripheral cutting edges has a radial rake angle different from radial rake angle of a peripheral cutting edge of a different helical flute.
