Driveline modeller
A computer-implemented system is disclosed for producing a design for a rotating machine assembly. It comprises a data module (10) configured for receiving data relating to one or more components of the rotating machine assembly; a user interface module (20 configured for specifying data to be received by the data module and for receiving from a user a type of analysis to be performed on the data; and an analysis module (30) configured for analysing a performance of the rotating machine assembly according to the type of analysis selected and selected features of the data to be used. It further includes a recognition module (40) configured for identifying and selected features of the data be used for the analysis according to the type of analysis selected. It provides an approach for managing and coordinating the data in the design of driveline systems so that the most accurate and informative insight on the driveline's performance is delivered to the engineer at the earliest possible point in the design process, hence product design and optimisation can be carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible. More aspects of product performance are coordinated together and the engineering insight is greater, hence the methodology becomes a platform for making engineering decisions rather than mathematical simulation.
Targeting system for portable drill press
A targeting tool releasably holds a portable drill press on a work piece while drilling a hole in the work piece. The portable drill press includes a tubular column with an open bottom end and a mechanical advantage device. The mechanical advantage device moves a drill up and down along the tubular column. A targeting base includes a base for releasable engagement with the work piece, an upstanding post affixed to the base that is adapted for engagement with the open end of the tubular column, and optionally, a drill guide in the base through which a drill bit passes as the drill moves up and down along the tubular column.

Drilling and tapping machine
A drilling and tapping machine includes a power head assembly supported at a vertical orientation, a parallelogram arm structure including a head support and an arm base, and an arm positioning assembly coupled with the head support and the arm base support for guiding corresponding movements of the head support and the arm base support so as to ensure a vertical trajectory of the power head assembly. The machine further includes a counterweight configuration to vertically move the power head assembly via a lever. The machine further includes an operational control assembly to selectively shift the power head assembly between a drilling operation and tapping operation. Therefore, the machine is suitable to make a hole with a diameter of 0.5 to 3 mm.
Portable drill press
A drill press comprises a hollow pillar with a base, a holder for a drill slidably mounted on the pillar and a clamp integral to the pillar for clamping the base to a work piece so that the drill is guided to the work piece. The clamp is a G clamp with a jaw held by an arm which engages a screw thread shaft housed in the pillar so that rotating the shaft raises and lowers the arm and the jaw.
Drilling measuring device, exchangeable needle cartridge, exchangeable docking device, and exchangeable tool
Disclosed herein is an exchangeable needle cartridge for a drilling measuring device with a guiding device for a drilling needle. The guiding device includes a telescopic tube with a plurality of telescopic tube sections which extends between a working end, at which a retainer for retaining the drilling needle in a rotationally fixed manner is arranged, and a docking end, at which a docking device for coupling the telescopic tube to a driving device of the drilling measuring device is arranged. Also disclosed is a docking device comprising a coupling device for transmitting torque from the driving device of the drilling resistance measuring device to the telescopic tube, a transmission device for converting the rotational motion of the driving device of the drilling measuring device into a linear motion of the telescopic tube, and furthermore structure for detachably fastening the exchangeable needle cartridge to the drilling measuring device.
