Rotary boring tool alignment device and system
A device and system for a rotary boring tool that enables a user to align the tool with respect to a target work surface is disclosed. The alignment system includes a rotating member that is mounted on the rotating portion of a rotary boring tool, and a separate portable stationary member that is designed to reside on the work surface. The rotating member includes a focused light source, such as a laser, that projects a light beam parallel to the direction of the rotary boring tool bit onto the stationary member which reflect the beam and produces a visible pattern on the surface of the stationary member that indicates alignment or misalignment of the rotary boring tool with respect to the work surface.
Drill guide for hand-held drill
A drill guide for a drill bit of a hand-held drill is disclosed. The drill guide includes a mount, a telescoping guard, and a guide foot. The mount is configured to couple to a non-rotating portion of the hand-held drill. The telescoping guard extends from the mount and is configured to telescope into a retracted position from an extended position. The guide foot is coupled to the telescoping guard opposite the mount such that the drill guide enshrouds the drill bit when the telescoping guard is in the extended position, and the drill bit passes through the guide foot as the telescoping guard telescopes into the retracted position from the extended position.
DRILL PLATE ASSEMBLIES
Drill plate assemblies are disclosed in the examples herein. An example method includes positioning an absorbent material between a drill plate and a surface to be drilled; performing a drilling operation on the surface including flowing coolant through the drill; and capturing at least some of coolant in the absorbent material.
Device and method for localizing a position on a part
A device for localizing a position on a part includes a support to receive the part, a bushing movably mounted with respect to the support, a removable localization member to be inserted into the bushing, and a blocking device to fix the bushing with respect to the support and to maintain it in position.

Tool for facilitating the machining of recessed inserts
The present disclosure relates generally to a tool that facilitates machining of inserts mounted in a primary component. More specifically, tools according to the present disclosure may be designed to support removal of recessed inserts in primary components without damaging the underlying primary components.
Pocket hole jig
A pocket hole jig in contains: a base, a first fixing assembly, a drilling assembly, and a second fixing assembly. The first fixing assembly and the drilling assembly are arranged on two ends of the base respectively, and an operation space is defined between the first fixing assembly and the drilling assembly of the base so as to accommodate a wooden workpiece. The first fixing assembly includes a push rod, the drilling assembly includes at least one tilted orifice, wherein an inlet segment of the at least one tilted orifice is located on an upper end of the drilling assembly, and an outlet segment of the at least one tilted orifice is located on one side of the drilling assembly. The second fixing assembly is located on one side of the base and includes an abutting seat configured to abut against the wooden workpiece.

Drilling method, drilling jig, and heat exchanger
A drilling method for forming a plurality of through-holes in a plate member includes: a first step of fixing at least one jig, which has a clearance hole, on a bed of a machine tool; a second step of placing the plate member on the at least one jig and fixing the plate member on the bed; a third step of operating the machine tool so that a leading end portion of a drilling tool of the machine tool is inserted into the clearance hole, and forming a first through-hole at a position of the plate member corresponding to the clearance hole; a fourth step of passing a fixing member through the first through-hole, and fixing the plate member on the at least one jig using the fixing member; and a fifth step of operating the machine tool to form a second through-hole other than the first through-hole.
