TOUCH SCREEN SHIELD
A shield that is attachable to a touch sensitive screen is disclosed. The shield may be attached to the touch sensitive screen only at its outer peripheral portion. An air gap is enclosed between the shield and the touch sensitive screen to form a planar air bearing. The shield preferably does not touch the active area of the touch sensitive screen when the user is not touching the shield but only viewing the touch sensitive screen through the shield. This mitigates unwanted optical artifacts such as trapped air bubbles, Newton rings and chromatic interference while maintaining the sensitivity of the touch sensitive screen.
Surgical barriers possessing clinically important absorption characteristics
The present disclosure provides copolymers useful in medical devices. For example, the disclosure provides copolymers comprising the polymerization product ester block, ether blocks and diisocyanates. In certain embodiments, the disclosure provides a medical copolymer for implantation comprising ester blocks and ether blocks, wherein: the ester blocks comprise a negative free energy transfer and the ether blocks comprise a positive free energy transfer, the ether and ester blocks are less than 1/10 the length of said copolymer, and, the blocks are distributed such that no domain of contiguous blocks possessing the same polarity of free energy transfer are less than ⅓ of the molecular weight of the copolymer. The disclosure further provides methods of making the aforementioned polymers, and medical devices comprising the polymers.
Engineered waterproof plastic composite flooring and wall covering planks
Waterproof engineered floor and wall planks have a veneer layer bonded with a plastic composite core, and an underlayer, preferably an underlayer of cork.

Amorphous inorganic anion exchanger, resin composition for electronic component sealing, and process for producing amorphous bismuth compound
The amorphous inorganic anion exchanger of the present invention is represented by Formula (1) and has an average primary particle size observed with an electron microscope of at least 1 nm but no greater than 500 nm and an NO.sub.3 content of no greater than 1 wt % of the whole:
BiO(OH) Formula (1).
Magnet receptive panels and methods
Provided are building panels comprising at least one magnet receptive element, methods for making such panels, and kits and methods for attaching objects to a panel without nails or screws.
Sealing structure and organic electroluminescence device
A sealing structure with high air-tightness and an organic electroluminescence device with high air-tightness are provided regardless of a pattern of a first metal layer overlapping with glass frit. A second metal layer is provided in a region where a common power supply line overlaps with the glass frit. Since laser light is absorbed or reflected by the second metal layer, the glass frit can be uniformly heated. Therefore, an object to be sealed can be sealed with a low-melting-point glass in which a crack is not easily generated.
Packaging method and display device
A packaging method and a display device are disclosed. The packaging method comprises: packaging a display element on a substrate having the display element disposed thereon to form a package covering the display element, wherein a first substance is disposed on at least a part of the substrate inside the package, the first substance comprising thermite; and initiating the first substance to obtain a second substance comprising a product of the thermite reaction.
Cover panel for at least one display instrument in a vehicle
A cover panel, for at least partially transparently covering at least one display instrument in a vehicle, has a microstructure applied on at least one surface. The microstructure is suitable for scattering visible light which is incident on the cover panel. The at least one window region of the cover panel is cutout from the microstructure. A method for manufacturing such a cover panel uses a molding tool with an applied microstructure matrix for forming a microstructure on a part of the molding tool which is assigned to a surface of a molded cover panel. The parts of the molding tool which are assigned to window regions are cut out from the microstructure matrix.
Display device
A display device comprising a first receiving layer and a second receiving layer located onto and in direct planar contact with the first receiving layer; a first support later and a second support layer located onto and in direct planar contact with the first support layer; and a sleeve for receiving the first and second receiving layers and first and second support layers.
