Coating Compositions for Security Elements and Holograms
The present invention relates to the use of coating compositions, comprising shaped transition metal, especially silver, particles and a binder, wherein the ratio of pigment to binder is preferably such that the resulting coating shows an angle dependent colour change, for the production of security elements and holograms. When the coating compositions of the present invention are used in coating a hologram the obtained products show a an angle dependent colour change (flip/flop effect), different colours in reflection and transmission, an extremely bright OVD image and extremely strong rainbow effect, high purity and contrast.
RESILIENT PAD COMPOSITE AND PROCESS FOR MAKING SAME WITHOUT A DIE
The present application describes making a resilient pad composite.
Absorbent sheet for pets
the absorbent sheet for pets which can suppress the outflow of a functional material is provided. An absorbent sheet (10) for pets includes a topsheet (12), a backsheet (14), an absorber (20) provided between the topsheet and the backsheet, a functional (40) material, and a recess (50)that is recessed in a direction from the topsheet toward the backsheet. The functional material (40) is provided at a position of the recess (50).
ARTICLES WITH A LOW-ELASTIC MODULUS LAYER AND RETAINED STRENGTH
One or more aspects of the disclosure pertain to an article including a film disposed on a glass substrate, which may be strengthened, where the interface between the film and the glass substrate is modified, such that the article has an improved average flexural strength, and the film retains key functional properties for its application. Some key functional properties of the film include optical, electrical and/or mechanical properties. The bridging of a crack from one of the film or the glass substrate into the other of the film or the glass substrate can be suppressed by inserting a nanoporous crack mitigating layer between the glass substrate and the film.
Three-dimensional printing system and equipment assembly
A three-dimensional printing system and equipment assembly for the manufacture of three-dimensionally printed articles is provided. The equipment assembly includes a three-dimensional printing build system, an optional liquid removal system and an optional harvester system. The build system includes a conveyor, plural build modules and at least one build station having a powder-layering system and a printing system. The equipment assembly can be used to manufacture pharmaceutical, medical, and non-pharmaceutical/non-medical objects. It can be used to prepare single or multiple articles.
Absorbent structures and cores with efficient immobilization of absorbent material
An absorbent structure comprising a planar substrate, an auxiliary glue applied on the substrate, an absorbent material comprising from 80% to 100% by weight of superabsorbent particles deposited on the substrate on an absorbent material deposition area comprising a pattern of absorbent material land areas separated by absorbent material-free junction areas, wherein the deposition area can be notionally divided in eight deposition zones of equal length along the longitudinal direction. A fibrous thermoplastic adhesive layer immobilizes at least some of the absorbent material. The absorbent material is profiled along the longitudinal direction so that at least one of the eight deposition zones is a zone of lower absorbent material amount and the auxiliary glue is absent, or present at a level of at least 50% by weight lower than the average amount of auxiliary glue in at least one of these zones of lower absorbent material amount.
Hyperbranched polyesters in printing inks
The invention relates to multilayer materials for producing packaging comprising at least two films and also a layer which is printed with a packaging printing ink, said packaging printing ink comprising a certain hyperbranched polyester containing functional groups. The invention further relates to a packaging printing ink which comprises a certain hyperbranched polyester containing functional groups, and to the use of said printing ink for producing multilayer materials.
Polylactide/silicon-containing block copolymers for nanolithography
The present invention includes a diblock copolymer system that self-assembles at very low molecular weights to form very small features. In one embodiment, one polymer in the block copolymer contains silicon, and the other polymer is a polylactide. In one embodiment, the block copolymer is synthesized by a combination of anionic and ring opening polymerization reactions. In one embodiment, the purpose of this block copolymer is to form nanoporous materials that can be used as etch masks in lithographic patterning.
Touch window and manufacturing method thereof
Disclosed is a touch window. The touch window includes a cover window; a first print layer disposed on the cover window to form an instruction icon pattern part; a second print layer in the instruction icon pattern part; and a reinforcement material on the second print layer.
COLORED METAL FILMS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
The present invention relates to a colored metal film comprising a metal article and a plurality of pores. The plurality of pores further comprises a high layer, an intermediate layer, and a low layer, in which the three layers together forms an embossed image. The present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing colored metal films. The method is used to manufacture a flat image or an embossed image on a metal article. The method comprises a finishing process, a first coating process, a color adjustment, a first printing process, an etching process, a second coating process, a second printing process, a sealing process, and a cleaning process.
