LAMINATED BODY COMPRISING METAL WIRE LAYER, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a method for producing a metal wire embedded flexible substrate from a laminate structure. The laminate structure includes a carrier substrate, a debonding layer disposed on at least one surface of the carrier substrate and including a polyimide resin, a metal wiring layer disposed in contact with the debonding layer, and a flexible substrate layer disposed in contact with the metal wiring layer. The adhesion strength between the metal wiring layer and the flexible substrate layer is greater than that between the metal wiring layer and the debonding layer. According to the method of the present invention, the flexible substrate with the metal wiring layer can be easily separated from the carrier substrate even without the need for other processes, such as laser and light irradiation. The embedding of the metal wires in the flexible substrate layer decreases the sheet resistance of an electrode and can protect the metal wires from damage or disconnection even when the flexible substrate is deformed in shape.
Foil laminate intermediate and method of manufacturing
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a metal foil laminate which may be used for example to produce an antenna for a radio frequency (RFID) tag, electronic circuit, photovoltaic module or the like. A web of material is provided to at least one cutting station in which a first pattern is generated in the web of material. A further cutting may occur to create additional modifications in order to provide additional features for the intended end use of the product. The cutting may be performed by a laser either alone or in combinations with other cutting technologies.
RESIN COMPOSITION, PREPREG, METAL FOIL-CLAD LAMINATE, RESIN SHEET, AND PRINTED WIRING BOARD
The present invention provides a resin composition comprising a cyanate compound (A); and an epoxy resin (B) represented by general formula (1):
##STR00001##
wherein a plurality of R each independently represent any of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
SPALL BREAK FOR TURBINE COMPONENT COATINGS
A turbine engine component can include a surface comprising at least one edge and a coating disposed upon the surface that can extend to the edge. A spall break can be disposed along a line upon the surface adjacent the edge to prevent spallation of the coating from spreading from the edge onto the surface beyond the spall break. The spall break can comprise a discontinuity of the coating. A method of coating a turbine component can include preparing a substrate to receive a coating and selecting a fail location along the substrate for a coating. One or more coating can be applied to the substrate and a spall break can be incorporated into the one or more coatings. The spall break can comprise a line of discontinuity in the one or more coatings along the fail location.
Multicorrosion protection system for decorative parts with chrome finish
The invention relates to a corrosion protection layer system for metal surfaces, said layer system comprising as the two top most layers: a) a discontinuous nickel-phosphorus layer and b) a chromium layer plated from a trivalent chromium electrolyte solution, as well as to a method of producing such a layer system. The inventive layer system is capable to combine the good corrosion resistance of the nickel-phosphorus layer against sodium chloride with the protective power of the chromium layer from the trivalent plating process against magnesium and calcium salts, especially without the need for any post-treatment.
Apparatus and methods using coatings for metal applications
An apparatus and methods for using coatings for metal applications are disclosed. According to one embodiment, an article comprises a cured polymeric film having a first reaction product of a cationic photoinitiator and a compound suitable for cationic polymerization. The article has a second reaction product of a free-radical photoinitiator and a compound suitable for free-radical polymerization; The article has a metal substrate, wherein the cured polymeric film coats the metal substrate.
Polymer coatings
The present disclosure relates to polymer coatings covalently attached to the surface of a substrate and the preparation of the polymer coatings, such as poly(N-(5-azidoacetamidylpentyl)acrylamide-co-acrylamide) (PAZAM), in the formation and manipulation of substrates, such as molecular arrays and flow cells. The present disclosure also relates to methods of preparing a substrate surface by using beads coated with a covalently attached polymer, such as PAZAM, and the method of determining a nucleotide sequence of a polynucleotide attached to a substrate surface described herein.
Articles with patterned coatings
Embodiments of a article including include a substrate and a patterned coating are provided. In one or more embodiments, when a strain is applied to the article, the article exhibits a failure strain of 0.5% or greater. Patterned coating may include a particulate coating or may include a discontinuous coating. The patterned coating of some embodiments may cover about 20% to about 75% of the surface area of the substrate. Methods for forming such articles are also provided.
Grain-oriented electrical steel sheet and method for manufacturing grain-oriented electrical steel sheet
Provided is an oriented electrical steel sheet including: a forsterite film formed on one side or both sides of an oriented electrical steel sheet substrate; and a ceramic layer formed on an entire or partial region of the forsterite film. Provided is a manufacturing method for an oriented electrical steel sheet including: preparing an oriented electrical steel sheet having a forsterite film formed on one surface or both surfaces thereof; and forming a ceramic layer by spraying ceramic powder on the forsterite film.
