A swash plate fulfils the basic properties required for a swash plate, which are stable boundary lubricating state by lubricating oil, without forming a metal spray coating layer comprising a copper type or aluminum type material on the surface of a substrate 3a forming the swash plate 3 of the swash plate type compressor as an intermediate layer. The substrate 3a of the swash plate 3 comprises a disk-shaped steel sheet formed by pressing a rolled steel sheet into a disk shape, and both surfaces of the disk-shaped steel sheet are ground. Thus, resin coating layers 10 containing fluororesin, which has superior seizure resistance, can be strongly fixed to the substrate without the need to form a metal spray coating layer on the surface of the substrate. This improves the durability of the swash plate type compressor using carbon dioxide gas as a refrigerant.

The assembly also including a transition arm having a connector pin for each piston, each connector pin connecting each piston to said transition arm, a drive shaft connected to the transition arm and a control shaft rotatably coupled to the drive shaft, the control shaft being movable to adjust the displacement of the piston assembly.

Swash plate and production method of the same

A swash plate 3 includes a substrate 11 made of an iron-based material, a hard first resin layer 12 provided to coat an end surface of the substrate 11, and a soft second resin layer 13 provided to coat the first resin layer 12. A spiral annular groove 12A is formed in a surface of the first resin layer 12, and the second resin layer 13 is provided to match the sectional shape of the first resin layer 12. With the soft second resin layer 13 on a sliding surface 3A of the swash plate 3, a swash plate 3 having a good fit in an initial stage of sliding can be provided. When the second resin layer 13 partially wears, a protrusion 12 of the first resin layer 12 of the hard resin is exposed to provide good wear resistance and good sliding properties.

A wobble drive mechanism for coupling a rotary motion to a reciprocating motion comprising a diagonal plate coupled to a rotary motion axis driving a wobble carrier having a flat side in sliding contact with the diagonal plate and a spherical side in contact with a spherical bearing recess. The wobble carrier has a bore containing at least one reciprocating drive shoe. The reciprocating drive shoe may be coupled to a piston operating within a cylinder. The reciprocating drive shoe may be free to move in the bore linearly and/or rotationally. In various embodiments, the reciprocating drive shoe comprises two or more components. In various embodiments the piston is coupled to the shoe via a fixed rod section and the fixed rod section terminates in, for example, a double cylindrical bearing T section or a spherical bearing. The reciprocating drive may operate various devices, for example, pump or motor devices.
