DEEP BRAIN STIMULATOR AND METHOD OF USE
A neurostimulation system is shown and described. The neurostimulation system may include a stimulation device implantable into a patient, a lead operatively coupled with the stimulation device, a first power cell providing power to the stimulation device where the first power cell is charged by an externally applied AC (High HF) magnetic field.
Device for stripping a cable
A device for simultaneously stripping at least two cable ends surrounded by insulation material includes a cutting device having first and second cutters that are movable relative to each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cable ends. The cutting edges of the first and second cutters are disposed substantially in the same plane and are movable towards each other such that the cutting edges simultaneously cut into the insulation material of the at least two cable ends. In addition, the cutting device and the cable ends are movable relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the cable ends to simultaneously pull-off the cut insulation material from the at least two cable ends and thereby strip the at least two cable ends.
Machine for cutting to size rolls of predefined length from logs with a greater length
Machine for cutting to size rolls with a defined length from logs having a greater length using a conveyor belts to drive the log to a cutting blade. Photocells are used to determine the length of the longs and to assist with the overall workings of the machine.
Device for stripping and blanking operations
A deflectable lifting device can be mounted to a frame, work surface, or other member of a material conveying system. The deflectable lifting device can have a base that mounts into a mounting slot of a frame, and a bendable arm arranged in the pathway of a material conveying system, such as a paper stripping or paper blanking work station. When a sheet of material travels over the deflectable lifting device, the bendable arm can bend and deflect downwardly, but still contacts the sheet of material to provide a small margin of elevation or lift to the sheet of material. The sheet of material can therefore be elevated above edges, holes, or other obstructions in the pathway, which could otherwise jam or snag the delivery of the sheet of material.
Workpiece manufacturing apparatus
A workpiece manufacturing apparatus includes a punch, which is provided in a lower die assembly and punches out a workpiece from an unprocessed material, and an ejector, which is provided in an upper die assembly so as to be capable of approaching and moving away from the lower die assembly. The manufacturing apparatus further includes a spring, which is provided in the upper die assembly and urges the ejector toward the lower die assembly, and a locking device, which locks the ejector with respect to the upper die assembly at a position at which the punch punches out the workpiece and releases the ejector when the die assemblies are opened. The locking device includes an actuator, which is provided in the upper die assembly and slides a slider between a locking position, at which the ejector is locked, and a releasing position, at which the ejector is released.

Piercing device for a single-dose capsule for powdered coffee and the like
A piercing device, suitable for piercing the upper film of a capsule containing a material suitable for being used for preparation of a beverage, including a first end, a central body, and a second end, the first end having an operating surface provided with a plurality of piercing spikes protruding from the operating surface, the device furthermore including disengagement members on the operating surface, for disengaging the capsule once the upper film of the capsule has been pierced, thereby preventing a capsule from remaining attached to the device for piercing.
Lifting device for stripping and blanking operations
A deflectable lifting device can be mounted to a support form, work surface or other member of a material conveyance system. According to embodiments, the deflectable lifting device can have a base that mounts into the support, and a bendable arm arranged in the pathway of a material conveyance system, such as a paper stripping or paper blanking work station. When a sheet or web of material travels over the deflectable lifting device, the bendable arm can bend and deflect downwards, but still contact the sheet or web with a gently humped or arcuate portion, providing a small margin of elevation or lift to the sheet or web. The sheet or web can therefore be elevated above edges, holes, or other obstructions in the pathway that could jam or snag the delivery of the material.
Sheet cutting device
A sheet cutting device includes a stage including a placement surface on which a to-be-cut sheet is placed; a strip-shaped fixed blade that is provided in one end portion of the stage; a movable blade that works together with the fixed blade to cut the sheet placed on the placement surface of the stage gradually from one end portion of the sheet to a different one end portion; and a support section that is located between the one end of the fixed blade and the other end in such a way as to be closer to a vertically downward side than the fixed blade and be closer to a vertically upward side than a bottom surface of a waste box placed closer to the vertically downward side than the fixed blade, to temporarily support part of a remnant generated after cutting by the fixed and movable blades.
