    Abstract

    The light device has USB charger has AC outlet power source has though the AC-to-DC device to change from 1.sup.st Alternative current to 1.sup.st voltage Direct current and the 1.sup.st voltage DC current though the circuit-inside or IC or DC-to-DC circuit to get 2.sup.nd voltage or though more DC-to-DC devices to get more voltage DC current. The light device has At least one of voltage DC current to supply to USB Charger Charging-port output-end at 5 Volt and one of desire voltage DC current to supply to DC light source. Or/The 1.sup.st AC current to AC light source and has one of DC current selected from 1.sup.st, 2.sup.nd or more voltage DC current to USB Charger charging-port's output end so the said light device has (1) illumination function by DC or/and AC light source and (2) USB charger function by supply desired 1.sup.st or 2.sup.nd or more other voltage DC current to USB charging-port at 5 Volt DC. The light device optional has outlet-ports to get 1.sup.st AC directly though conductive parts to outlet-ports to supply AC to other device. Furthermore, the light device Optional can add other function(s) select from (a) Time piece related (b) Reflect Image (c) Power station (d) project image (e) heater (f) Air Flow (g) wireless communication (h) remote controller (g) APP controller (h) Blue-tooth controller.

    Claims

    1. An LED desktop item having a USB charger, including: an AC powered LED light having: (i) an area or indicator light illumination function for at least one of an area light, night light, indicator light, time display, projection light, light that reflects an object image to an image capture device, and accent light; incorporated with at least one of an IC, DC-to-DC circuitry, switch, sensor, remote controller, and wi-fi system; for adjusting, setting, or changing at least one of a color, a brightness, and a trigger system, and (ii) a USB charging system having at least one USB port incorporated with an external USB wire having at least two male plugs selected from Type A, C, or Micro to plug into at least one female USB output and at least on to-be-charged product receiving USB port without data delivery; wherein current is supplied by at least one of: (a) AC to DC circuitry built-in the LED light device, or AC to DC circuitry that fits in an outside transformer having at least one plug or prong with or without a wire to connect with an AC outlet and the LED light device, and (b) an AC outlet that supplies AC current through a wire connected with an AC LED source, AC LED bulb, or AC CFL bulb, and wherein the AC-to-DC circuitry converts AC current into at least one of a first, second, and more different voltage DC current; wherein the LED desktop item has at least one of: (1) a first DC voltage that is higher or lower than at least one USB charging port voltage, (2) at least one second DC voltage that is different than the first DC voltage, and (3) an AC current, and the AC or DC current supplied to at least one of: (a) the USB charger system, (b) a DC light source, or at least one AC light source that includes an LED or CFL bulb, and (c) a DC device or additional DC function(s) is at least one of: (c1) one of a fan, a motor, or a device providing air flow at desired temperatures; (c2) one of a timepiece, a clock, a digital alarm clock, time display, image, or time projection, or charging status function; (c3) one of a desktop lighted mirror, or a function of generating moisture, steam, or smells, dispensing liquid; and (c4) one of night light, area illumination, reading illumination that incorporates an IC for LED color or brightness changing or selection, or at least one additional function or device selected from at least one of an motor, air flow device, time image projection, image projection, projection of an object image to mirror, air freshener, smell diffusor, steam sprayer, audio device, and time display.

    2. An LED desktop item having a USB charger, wherein the LED desktop item is powered by AC power and has: an area or indicator light illumination function for at least one area light, night light, indicator light, time display, projection light, light that reflects an object image to an image capture device, and accent light; incorporated with at least one of an IC, DC-to-DC circuitry, switch, sensor, remote controller, and wi-fi system; for adjusting, setting, or changing at least one of a color, a brightness, and a trigger system, and (1) at least one additional or device including at least one of a motor, air flow device, time image projection, image projection, projection of an object image to an image capture device, air freshener, smell diffusor, steam sprayer, audio device, and time display, and (2) a USB charging system having at least one USB port incorporated with external USB wire having at least two male plugs selected from at least one of Type A, C, and Micro to plug into at least one female USB output and at least one to-be-charged product receiving USB port without data delivery; wherein current is supplied by at least one of: (a) AC to DC circuitry built-in the LED light device, and (b) AC to DC circuitry that fits an outside transformer having at least one plug or prong with or without a wire to connect with an outlet and/or plugged into the LED light device, wherein: (a) the AC-to-DC circuitry converts an AC voltage from the AC outlet into a first DC voltage that is higher or lower than is need by the USB charging system and the first DC voltage to supply current to at least one built-in LED function, and to at least one DC-to-DC circuit, and (b) an integrated circuit (I.C.) supplies at least one built-in other function.

    3. An LED desktop item having a USB charger as claimed in claim 2, wherein the desktop item includes an outlet-unit or outlet-module that receives an input AC current directly through inner housing conductive parts to supply AC power to AC operated electric or digital products.

    4. An LED desktop item having a USB charger as claimed in claim 2, wherein the light source further includes at least one second DC light source including at least one built-in LED, an electroluminescent (EL) light element, or an organic EL light element for at least one of a projection light, night light, and light for body illumination with or without color or brightness changing.

    5. An LED desktop item having a USB charger as claimed in claim 2, wherein the light source further includes a DC light source including a compact fluorescent (CFL) light or LED bulb, for at least one of a projection light, night light, and light for body illumination with or without color or brightness changing.

    6. An LED desktop item having a USB charger as claimed in claim 2, wherein the desktop item includes a USB module or USB power station having a plurality of fixed or movable of USB units and AC outlet units to supply (1) a variety of DC currents of different amperages and voltages, and (2) a 120 Volt AC current.

    7. An LED desktop item having a USB charger as claimed in claim 2, wherein the LED desktop item additional function device is at least one of: (a) a time display with a separate backup battery power source; (b) an alarm and/or time device having a battery and backup power source; (c) a lighted mirror for reflecting an image; (d) a magnifying lens to magnify objects; (e) a wireless transmitter and receiver; (f) wireless or WiFi controller with APP software or program; (g) a power station; (h) a surge protection device; (i) an overheat protection device; (j) a short circuit cut-off protector; (k) a Blue Tooth device; (l) a remote controller; (m) a motion sensor; (n) a time delay; and (o) an infrared controller.

    8. An LED desktop item having a USB charger as claimed in claim 2, wherein the LED desktop item has an LED indicator light to show charging status or added functions status.

    9. An LED desktop item having a USB charger as claimed in claim 2, wherein the USB charging needed DC voltage is a 5V DC voltage having a tolerance of +/−15%.

    10. A quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item, comprising: at least one fixed, movable, removable, or detachable USB charging unit, or an assembly that fits within an item having at least one USB port having at least one of: (a) a charging output DC current of 2.1 A minimum up to 10 A; (b) a 5V or 5.2V DC charging output voltage with or without integrated circuit control of charging current or showing charging status; and (c) a desired charging output current selected from one or more of the following: 1.0 A, 1.2 A, 2.1 A, 2.4 A, 3.1 A, 3.6 A, 4.2 A, 4.8 A, 6.6 A, or higher, wherein the charging output voltage or current of at least one charging port provides a quick charging function and reduces a time to charge another product's rechargeable battery without electric signal delivery; wherein power is supplied by item built-in or external transformer built-in AC-to-DC circuitry to convert AC power from the AC outlet into at least one of a first or second, or more than second DC power for supply to the at least one USB charging port, the lighting device, and preferred additional function or devices, wherein: (i) the second or more than second DC power supplied to a USB output is between 4.5 to 5.5 Volt DC charging output voltage, and a first DC voltage is supplied by pre-designed circuitry to a DC power light source selected from a built-in LED, EL light source, and organic EL light source wherein the at least one USB charging port a Type A USB, or type C USB, or micro-USB male plug of a USB wire having at least one male USB plugs without pins at each end to deliver DC charging current, and wherein the item has a base for desk, surface, floor, or wall installation.

    11. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the power to the quick USB charging assembly is supplied by the outside transformer, which has circuit-kits inside to change the AC current to a DC current having a first DC voltage of 6V, 12V, 15V, 18V, or 24V, the quick USB charging assembly further comprising an integrated circuit or circuitry for changing the first DC voltage to a second DC voltage of 5V (+/−10%) to charge another electrical or digital device having an inner energy storage unit or assembly including rechargeable batteries.

    12. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein a power source of the item is an AC wall outlet or extension cord or another AC outlet that receives an AC plug and wire and outputs a first AC current to a CFL or LED bulb, the item further including an internal transformer, or AC-to-DC circuitry for changing the first AC current to more than one different voltage DC current for at least one LED, wireless system, and IC for controlling at least one of light color, brightness, and at least one light function, wherein: (a) the first DC current has a voltage of 6V, 12V, 15V, 18V, or 24V and is supplied directly to at least one of (a1) a light source and (a2) at least one built-in DC operated function; (b) the first DC current voltage by at least one DC-to-DC circuitry to get the second DC current is a 5V DC current and is supplied to the output end of a circuit for the at least one USB charging port; (c) the second DC voltage is converted by at least one of an internal integrated circuit and additional internal circuitry to a third DC current and the third DC current is a lower or different than USB charging port(s) needed 5V DC current supplied to DC operated at least one IC for preferred functions of at least one of an LED indicator light, charging status light, surge protection light, and additional function(s).

    13. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that includes at least one LED that offers preferred illumination is at least one area illumination, night light illumination, a lighted project image, a projected time display image, time display illumination, charging status, date or/and calendar display, temperature display, or message display.

    14. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that has at least one LED to offer a light beam or back light for front or side arranged at least one of an LCD display, changeable wireless display image, image carrier element, film, and photo; to show a fixed, moving, changing, or rotating image and/or patterns.

    15. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light having at least one of a fixed, movable, bendable, rotatable, and extendable and retractable base, pole, bar, stationary organizer, compartment, construction, stand, clip base, or at least one other housing part.

    16. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is a light device having at least one integrate circuit (I.C.), circuitry, switch, and sensor(s) that controls at least one of a light source, at least one LED, a time display, a message display, a wireless communication device, an image display a timer, a date/calendar/weather display, a temperature/humidity display, a remote controller, a Wi-Fi controller, an image controller, an IP cam, an infrared controller, and wireless communication controller.

    17. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that is one of a desk lamp, floor lamp, wall lamp, outdoor lighting, and nightlight having at least one cool, warm, or cool and warm white LED.

    18. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the other product-to-be-charged includes at least one of communication equipment, computer equipment, and a consumer electric product having a rechargeable DC energy storage unit or assembly inside the product-to-be-charged.

    19. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the USB charging port is a type-A USB charging port having a minimum of 1.0 A and up to 20 Amp or higher charging capacity.

    20. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item has a USB receiving port to input DC power.

    21. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that further comprises a desired number of AC to DC circuits inside or outside the light device's housing to get pre-determined voltage DC current(s) incorporated with at least one circuit, IC, switch, sensor(s), and electric parts to adjust, set, select, change at least one of color(s), brightness, function(s), duration, moving or steady light effects.

    22. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that includes a plurality of external or internal circuits for adjusting or changing DC currents for different functions, performance, and effects.

    23. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that has at least one surge protection, over-heat, over-load, electric shortage protection circuit to increase a safety of the item.

    24. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that includes an outlet-unit or outlet-module that receives at least one conductive prong for supplying AC power to another AC electrical product.

    25. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the at least one USB charging port and an outlet unit are assembled together to form a USB-module or outlet-module or universal unit or sealed-unit having a desired number of USB charging ports and outlet units with or without ground pins.

    26. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 25, wherein the item is an LED light that has at least one added outlet-unit with surge-protection.

    27. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 25, the at least one USB charging port and/or outlet units is installed on at least one a base, pole, bar, stand, stationery-organizer, added housing construction, and clip, of the item or a lighting device.

    28. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein a light source of the item includes at least one built-in LED, a CFL, a separate LED bulb, a fluorescent tube, an LED tube, an EL element, or an organic EL element, controlled by at least one of Wi-Fi, remote control, wireless control, sensor, IR, and RF system.

    29. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that further includes additional electric parts and accessories or an integrated circuit to provide functions is at least one of a timer, remote controller, dimmer, color changer, remote controller, wireless controller, APP controller, Wi-Fi communication, Wi-Fi controller, motion sensor, switch, master power controller, and anti-glare filter.

    30. The quick USB charging assembly for a desktop or floor or wall mounted or clip item as claimed in claim 10, wherein the item is an LED light that is a floor lamp and (1) the at least one USB charging port is installed on at least one housing, base, added desk, bar, stand, pole or (2) a number of outlets are installed on the base or stand with or without surge protection.

So from 2007 to 2010 come out the current invention's said USB charging-ports has more strictly for USB Charging port(s) material and all details so can allow to quickly charging from minimum 1.0 A to 5.0 Amp and from 2007 to 2015 come out more higher for 2.1 Amp or 2.4 Amp so can combine to big current charging including one USB-unit, USB-module, Sealed-unit, Universal-unit, or USB module which same as USB power station can have 4.8 Amp, 7.2 Amp, 9.6 Amp for public area for many people use at same time.

    (50) The current inventions disclosure the time table and USB development on the above discussion to make clear different for USB Charger limitation before 2007 and also make big difference for any USB Charging-port preferred only has Charging-Function and not have the Digital/electric data delivery while for USB Charging ports if want to get safety and quickly Charging capacity as above reports shown evidence.

    (51) From FIG. 1, the USB-Unit(s) (112) has USB Charging-ports (108) for charging the energy-storage unit or assembly including the rechargeable batteries (not shown) inside the other electric or digital data device(s) according to a first preferred embodiment of the invention which has 2 USB-units (112) and 1 outlet-unit (114) at the front of the base for easily use by consumer some applications put on back is not practical and not too many trouble. The location for the USB-Unit(s) or Outlet-unit(s) preferred to arrange on front of the desktop items' front housing so people can easily to reach without move or turn direction of the items for every time to charge the other device(s). However, for Outlet-unit(s) or Outlet-Module(s) can put on back because it ONLY SUPPLY power to the other electric device(s) such as printer, scanner, Fax machine which can just one time plug and not every-day need to plug into the Outlet-unit or Outlet-Module. The laptop carry computer need every day repeat use Outlets-Unit or Outlet-Module so need to put on front or sides for easily operation.

    (52) The first preferred embodiment (100) is a 12 LED USB light powered by a USB plug-wire (122) (124) (126) which can be a USB-plug (126) to connect with outside transformer (226T of FIG. 3) or AC-Plug (226AC of FIG. 3) has wire from different outlet to get AC power source.
