Continuous strand weaving pentagon pin looms and methods of use
A method and a system for forming a pentagonal woven fabric including a pentagon pattern loom. The pentagon pattern loom includes loom pins. The loom pins are arranged in a pentagonal pattern to form a structure for engaging a continuous yarn strand. The loom pins include a first pin, a second pin, a third pin, a fourth pin, and a fifth pin positioned at the edges of the pentagonal pattern with center pins therebetween. A bias weaving process uses the continuous yarn strand for forming a top woven triangle fabric section, a bottom woven triangle fabric section, and a middle section of parallel yarn strand portions of the single continuous yarn strand. A second continuous weaving uses the continuous yarn strand as weft strands in the middle section of parallel yarn strand portions for forming a rectangular woven fabric section with remaining loom pins of the pentagonal pattern.

Manually-advanced cylinder, with an adjustable pointer, for continuous tracking of treadling on a weaving draft when weaving with a hand-operated loom
The object of the invention is to enable the weaver to weave the design structure of fabric without having to remember where one is on the treadling draft (a diagrammatic representation of the treadling order). This invention not only enables the weaver to weave without mistakes but also to stop weaving for any time period and resume weaving without having to examine the previously woven cloth, thus ensuring that the pattern of the weaving continues as designed. When any draft is taped onto the cylinder, the weaver is able to rotate the cylinder and thus the draft, keeping track of each treadling by the draft's alignment with the pointer. This invention is designed to assist the weaver to always know where to begin the next treadling, based upon the pointer's position on the draft, thereby enabling the weaver to continue to weave, without mistakes, the prescribed design of woven fabric.

CONTINUOUS STRAND WEAVING HEXAGON PIN LOOMS AND METHODS OF USE
A method and system for forming a hexagonal woven fabric provide a hexagonal pattern loom including loom pins arranged in a hexagonal pattern to form a structure for engaging a continuous yarn strand. The loom pins form a top angled side of the hexagonal pattern and a bottom angled side of the hexagonal pattern. A set of the loom pins form two opposite straight sides of the hexagonal pattern forming the hexagonal pattern loom. A bias weaving process uses the continuous yarn strand for forming a top woven triangle fabric section, a bottom woven triangle fabric section, and a middle section of parallel yarn strand portions of the single continuous yarn strand. Traditional back-and-forth weaving uses the continuous yarn strand as weft strands in the middle section of parallel yarn strand portions for forming a rectangular woven fabric section. A hexagonal woven fabric uses the continuous yarn strand.

Interactive loom
An interactive loom, which includes a loom-mechanism, a user interface, a loom interface, and a controller. Each cam is in the form of a cylinder rotating about the axis thereof. The circumferential surface of the cam exhibits a determined surface geometry, such that each of a plurality of sections of said circumferential surface corresponds to a respective one of the arms. The circumferential surface further exhibits a respective cross sectional profile and such that each rotational position of said cam is associated with a respective state of lowered and raised arms. The loom-interface includes a motor coupled with the cam, and operates loom-mechanics according to instructions. The controller receives a design from the user-interface and transforms the design into a sequence of states of the arms required for achieving the design. The controller further provides the instructions to the loom-interface. The instructions are associated with state changes of the arms.
