A system for lubricating a wire rope includes a housing configured to be mounted adjacent a wire to be lubricated. A cartridge for housing lubricant is disposed on the housing. At least two nozzles are in fluid communication with the cartridge and configured to dispense the lubricant onto a respective wire at a position adjacent a weight bearing portion of the wire.

Continuous provision of a valid lubricant sample

An arrangement forming a lubricant circuit includes at least one lubricant line, at least one line branching that branches the lubricant line into a first branch and a second branch. The arrangement further includes at least one lubricant reservoir integrated into the first branch, and at least one line junction where the first branch and the second branch merge. The first branch is lockable and releasable.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VALVE GREASING IN A WELL TREE

A technique facilitates greasing of valves on a well tree, e.g. a frac tree, according to a simple process which enables selected, individual valves to be greased when desired. In some applications, the greasing process may be automated and controlled via a greasing control system. According to an embodiment, a greasing system is connected with grease ports at a plurality of actuatable valves located in a well tree. The greasing system has a plurality of grease valves which may be associated with each of the actuatable valves, e.g. with each of the grease ports. A pump is used to pump grease to the grease valves and the grease valves are selectively actuated to open positions to provide controlled greasing of desired actuatable valves so as to remove debris from and to lubricate selected actuatable valves.

A lubricant system for a gear assembly of an aircraft is presented. The lubricant system includes a main lubricant conduit and an emergency lubricant conduit joined with a valve, and further wherein the valve defines a closed position disposing lubricant through the emergency lubricant conduit when an engine is at rest, and wherein the valve defines an open position disposing lubricant through the main lubricant conduit when the engine is in operation.

MULTI REEL SYSTEM
20190360636 · 2019-11-28 · ·

A system for lubricating multiple frac valves while allowing the operator to remain out of the red zone. A system of high flow mandrels and valves allows an operator to enter the red zone a minimal number of times. Generally, when using the system, the operator will enter the red zone prior to the fracking operation beginning to connect the various lines to each frac valve and then after the frac job is complete to disconnect the various lines from each frac valve. A high-pressure pump provides lubricant at a sufficient pressure and volume to a high-pressure manifold or high-pressure manifolds. The high-pressure manifolds supply the hose reels through valves located near the manifold. The hose reels in turn are the lines that are connected to each frac valve Using the system, the operator may remain outside of the red zone with the lubricant reservoir, the pump, the high-pressure manifolds, and the hose reels. When a well pad is shut down the operator chooses which frac valve to grease and commands the associated valve on the high-pressure manifold to open. The high-pressure pump is then actuated using the lubricant from the lubricant reservoir the pump increases the lubricant pressure to about 15,000 psi supplying it to at least a first high-pressure manifold. The high-pressure manifold then distributes the lubricant through the open valve to the desired hose reel and then to the frac valve which is inside the red zone. The operator repeats the process until each of the frac valves on the well pad are greased. The various fittings, lines, valves, and manifolds are chosen or manufactured to minimize pressure losses through the system between the high-pressure pump and the frac valve.
