Submerged combustion burners having a burner body, a burner tip connected thereto. Submerged combustion melters including the burners and methods of using them to produce molten glass. The burner body has an external conduit and first and second internal conduits substantially concentric therewith, forming first and second annuli for passing a cooling fluid therethrough. The burner tip body is connected to the burner body at ends of the external and second internal conduits. The burner tip includes a generally central flow passage for a combustible mixture, the flow passage defined by an inner wall of the burner tip. The burner tip includes a crown portion defining a circumferential concavity.
Wellhead Gas Heater
Systems and methods are disclosed that may include providing a wellhead gas burner to burn wellhead gas produced from a wellhead to heat water and/or other chemicals used in hydrocarbon production and/or well completion processes, including, but not limited to hydraulic fracturing (fracking). The wellhead gas burner may include a pressure regulator and an expansion chamber that permit the wellhead gas burner to continuously operate and accommodate wellhead gas pressure fluctuations. The wellhead gas burner may also be configured as a primary heat source and integrated with a traditional propane/diesel gas burner system configured as a supplemental heat source. The wellhead gas burner may also be mounted to a mobile superheater truck.
BURNER FOR A COMBUSTION MACHINE AND COMBUSTION MACHINE
A burner for a combustion machine, having a pilot burner, which extends in the axial direction, having a nozzle chamber, having a burner region and having a cover plate which is arranged between the nozzle chamber and the burner region and which has an inlet opening, wherein an adapter is arranged, in order to guide air out of the nozzle chamber along a specified flow path in the direction of the combustion region, wherein a flow channel is formed as part of the flow path between the adapter and the cover plate and the adapter has a radially extending, annular section which, together with the cover plate, forms a radial section of the flow channel, in order to cool the cover plate by the air. A combustion machine has such a burner.
COMPACT BURNER FOR AN ENTRAINED-FLOW GASIFIER HAVING NO LIQUID COOLING
A compact burner for the pressurized gasification of pulverized fuel dust for producing synthesis gas, wherein a plurality of concentric media channels transition into a conical burner tip. The burner tip provides a reduced contact surface on the reaction chamber side. The nozzle components of the burner tip are produced by selective laser melting, which permits a design for cooling by supplied media, such as fuel gas, flushing gas, or oxidation. A sliding guide having an intermediate seal is arranged between the nozzle components of two media channels to equalize temperature-driven linear extensions. The compact burner makes the expense for liquid cooling unnecessary.
NOZZLE ASSEMBLY, COMBUSTOR, AND GAS TURBINE HAVING SAME
A nozzle assembly for injecting fuel and compressed air into a combustion chamber of a gas turbine combustor is provided. The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle body disposed in the combustor and having a coolant outlet on one end of which an inside of the nozzle body communicates with the combustion chamber, a spray nozzle disposed in the nozzle body and including a plurality of first nozzle tubes each having a first flow path formed therein to allow combustion air to flow into the combustion chamber and a fuel hole formed to supply fuel, and a second nozzle tube having through-holes to allow the first nozzle tubes to pass therethrough and a second flow path formed to supply fuel, and a diaphragm disposed inside of the nozzle body and including a plurality of coolant flow holes through which a coolant supplied to the nozzle body is supplied towards one end of the nozzle body and a plurality of tube holes through which the first nozzle tubes pass.
Machine component, particularly a turbomachine component, with cooling features and a method for manufacturing and of operation
A cooled machine component having a body with at least one integrated cooling channel having a lattice structure for guiding a cooling fluid through an interior, the lattice structure arranged as a void space penetrated by a plurality of hollow or solid struts. The lattice structure has an inlet for providing the cooling fluid to be guided through the void space of the lattice structure, and has an outlet for receiving the cooling fluid, the outlet being fluidically connected to a hollow interior of at least one of the plurality of hollow struts. At least a subset of the hollow struts provides a fluidic connection for cooling fluid from the outlet to a plurality of further downstream discharge ports. Walls of the body surrounding each of the plurality of further downstream discharge ports are physically connected to corresponding jackets of the at least one of the plurality of hollow struts.
COOLING JACKET FOR GASIFICATION BURNER
A feed injector for a gasifier comprising a burner and a cooling jacket to protect the burner from high temperatures. The cooling jacket comprises two concentric channels in order to provide a flow path for a heat transfer fluid, typically water, to travel through one channel toward the burner front, travel along the burner front, and return through the other channel. Heat transfer in the cooling jacket is improved by introducing one or more fins in the path of the heat transfer fluid and/or by increasing the radius of curvature of the wall corner bordering the flow recirculation zone in the cooling jacket.
DRYNESS IMPROVING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING DRYNESS OF STEAM OF STEAM INJECTION BOILER
Provided are dryness raiser and method for improving steam dryness of a steam injection boiler. Technical solutions of the dryness raiser and the method are that: a plurality of compressed air circulation holes perpendicular to a front end head are provided in the middle of a flange bolt hole of the front end head in a compressed air inlet passage, and the compressed air inlet passage is connected to a fuel pipe passage by the compressed air circulation holes; and a plurality of compressed air heat dissipation holes are provided in a front end face of the front end head, and are perpendicular to and are connected to the compressed air circulation holes, air heat dissipation nozzles are disposed at tail ends of the compressed air heat dissipation holes, and a plurality of air heat dissipation jet orifices are evenly distributed on circumferences of the air heat dissipation nozzles.
METHOD OF HEATING UP FURNACE BOTTOM, AND BURNER LANCE USED IN THE METHOD
A method of heating up a furnace bottom and a burner lance used in the method are proposed. The method of heating up the furnace bottom includes a step of opening, in the tap hole, a burner lance insertion hole having a diameter larger than a diameter of the burner lance so as to penetrate into the furnace, a step of installing the burner lance in the opened burner lance insertion hole, a step of filling a gap between the installed burner lance and a furnace exterior side of the tap hole with a refractory, and a step of blowing in gas for heating into the furnace from the burner lance to heat up the furnace bottom.
