Walkway installation, as well as a vessel with such a walkway installation
A walkway installation includes a base (1) intended to be fastened to a support construction, such as to the deck (5) of a ship (6), as well as a base bridge part (2) that is connected at one end so it can be rotated around an upright base axis of rotation (11) with the base. Furthermore, a main bridge part (4) is positioned on the other end of the base bridge part (1) as well as a hinge construction between the base bridge part (1) and the main bridge part (2). The hinge construction has an upright main axis of rotation (12) and an auxiliary axis of rotation (13) aligned transversely to the upright main axis of rotation and transversely to the main bridge part. By rotating the gangplank parts, the installation may be adjusted in a reliable and quick way in relation to a fixed object or another vessel.
RETRACTABLE STEP HAVING A LIFTING AND RAMP FUNCTION
A boarding system for a vehicle for transporting people includes a retractable step that has a lifting function and a ramp function. An extendable front edge of the retractable step and a rear edge of the retractable step are arranged behind in the direction of travel and are adjustable in terms of height.

Device to transfer personnel and materials to and from a land site and use thereof
A floating device for transfer of personnel and material to and from the shore, where the device is divided into sections that are mutually brought together by articulated couplings to form an extended, continuous path for the transfer of said personnel and material, as the sections are set up to be reset between a parked, folded position and an extended, using position. The device is characterized by a first section (10) that comprises mutually separated hull sections (14, 16) that are connected via a deck (12) where the other sections (20, 30) in the device are set up to be parked in under the deck (12) between the hull parts (14, 16) of the first section (10), and also that the device comprises means to securely couple the other sections (20, 30) to the first section (10) up under the deck, as the hull parts can be ballasted to be able to raise and lower the first section (10) with regard to the other sections (20, 30).
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR ROTUNDA OF BOARDING BRIDGE
A height adjustment device for a rotunda can comprise: an outer column which fixes a rotunda and ascends and descends; an inner column which is connected to the outer column; a vertical screw which is placed on the lower end of the rotunda; a nut which is interlocked in correspondence to the outside diameter of the vertical screw; and rails which are provided on one side of the outer column or the inner column and are formed in correspondence to each other so as to assist the ascent and descent of the outer column.

Boardwalk and sidewalk system with dual use as flood control barrier
A walkway for use between a shoreline of a body of water and at least a portion of a building exposed to the body of water, the walkway including: a base adjacent to the building; a plank having a surface for use by pedestrians to walk upon when the plank is in a first position at least indirectly disposed on the base, the plank having a first end rotatably connected to the base and having a second end extending from the first end away from the building along a length of the plank, the surface being exposed for use by the pedestrians to walk upon when the plank is in the first position; and a lifting mechanism operatively connected to the plank to rotate the plank from the first position to a second position where the length of the plank is oriented adjacent to a wall of the building to impede a rising height of the body of water.
Over decking systems and methods
A decking system provides a surface upon which traffic may travel. Drivable decking surfaces can support heavy vehicles, such as tanks. Exemplary decking systems include a first module, a second module, a first upper fastening assembly, a first lower fastening assembly, a second upper fastening assembly, and a second lower fastening assembly. These fastening assemblies can secure the first module and the second module together. Decking systems may also include side ramp assemblies and/or end ramp assemblies, and such ramp assemblies can be coupled with a decking platform. Fastening assemblies may include a pin, a first clip, and a second clip.
Transportation pathway elevation separator
A modular system for constructing an elevated pathway includes a first pathway segment comprising a first elevated platform portion; first edge supports to bare a load of the first elevated platform portion, wherein the first edge supports contact a ground surface and create a grade separation between the ground surface and a bottom side of the first elevated platform portion; and a first joint. The modular system also includes a second pathway segment comprising: a second elevated platform portion; second edge supports to bare a load of the second elevated platform portion, wherein the second edge supports contact the ground surface and create a grade separation between the ground surface and a bottom side of the second elevated platform portion; and a second joint to attach to the first joint to limit a motion of the second pathway segment relative to the first pathway segment.
Smart gangway tip
A gangway includes a distal end on which an end effector unit is attached. The end effector unit has an outer surface at least a certain portion of which is adapted to be in contact with an installation, wherein a movement of a rotatable element in the end effector unit corresponds to a movement of the distal end with respect to a reference point on the installation when the end effector unit is in contact with the installation, the movement of the distal end being at least along one of the axes related to the installation. A method for repositioning a gangway to a desired position on an installation or a target structure. A vessel or a watercraft includes the gangway and an installation includes the gangway. A computer software product implements method steps herein disclosed.
